Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

The default was changed because many users expressed the desire to use portions of the raid manager with their raid frames.

So we did address this in the FAQ:

How do I turn the default Raid/Party frames on/off?

Go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck or check the box next to the raid/party frames to turn on and off the Blizzard frames and Raid manager. If you would like to use the Blizzard raid manager with PB4 frames, this should be set so that they are not hidden here, and use the "Hide" button on the Raid Manager window.

I still have this problem, 100% recreatable with no addons other than Pitbull4 active. I'm most puzzled. The saved variables file is being updated but unassigned layouts are not visible on the layout dropdowns. It's not a huge problem but I was hoping to have some canned layouts to switch in and out of as needed. I assume the way to create a new layout is to just type the name in the new layout area of the layout editor and click the OK button that appears. Nothing else, no manual saving or anything? This is with Beta 17.3 from a day or two ago

Thanks for all the great work on Pitbull4. I have noticed one oddity, namely a new layout that isn't used by a group or unit appears to get deleted after a UI reload or logout. I created a layout, assigned it to the "target" unit, then created another one intending to carry on tweaking it the next day. The next day it was gone. Assigning it to a unit or group makes it stay.

Is there a way to decrease the size of the player, target, etc. health and mana bar even more? Here's a pic of what size mine is currently at:

Increase the size of the other bars and it'll become smaller. The bars are sized relative to the total size of all the bars. Let's say you have two bars, a health bar and a power bar. The healthbar is set to 2 and the powerbar is set to 1. The total of those bar sizes is 3. So the halthbar will take up 2/3rds of the height and the powerbar will take up 1/3rd.

If you change the health bar to 4 and leave the powerbar at 1 then the powerbar then the total will be 5 and the healthbar will take up 4/5ths and the healthbar will take up 1/5th.

Probably the best way to do this at current is to put both texts in the same text setup and then put a \n between them. There are some limitations of the current layout system and you're running into them. We can't just provide an offset slider because of the way things are laid out.

lol. Dang. Alright, thanks for the help.

I have been messing with a workaround by taking away the border/background of the unit frame entirely and using kgpanels to simulate the background. I just can't get kgpanels to parent to Pitbull4_Frames_player that /framestack is telling me it is named. If I try, the panel disappears entirely.

Is /framestack lying to me?

PitBull4_Frames_player, note the capital B. Frame names are case sensitive.

Hey, Sol here from garrosh. I miss you Shefki and Trill.

But onto my real problem. For some reason when I have PB4 enabled and turned on, the default Blizzard Buff/Debuff bars do not show up.

I'm not getting an Error. Also I sent Shefki my real ID on message on Curse, tell him to check and give it to you as well!

Start here: /pb Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and ensure that buffs/debuffs is not checked. A couple reports say you may have to check and uncheck.

If that is unchecked... do you have any other buff add on that could be interfering?
