PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

@oisteink, What does this have to do with me? We never shipped a broken AceAddOn, it was only broken for 4 hours and the packager was broken during this time frame so nobody should have gotten it. On top of this the breakage shouldn't do what you're saying. I've heard people complaining about broken profile stuff on beta, is this on beta? If so then I'm sorry to say we're terribly broken on beta because Blizzard broke the stuff on their end that we are dependent upon.

Edit: Ok tracked down the AceAddOn problem. Upgrade to a newer version of Ace3 would mask the problem I've solved it. beta16 will fix this permanently.

@meezyfuh, Known issue, it's some sort of wonkiness with the Cooldown Frame on Blizzard's end. I haven't managed to track down a workaround yet. But I had noticed it and am investigating.

I seem to be having an issue with the latest Beta build. Everything works fine except for my Party frame. I don't seem to have any errors to speak of related to Pitbull but I can't get my party frame to display. Is this related to the other issues?

Blizzard broke the RestrictedEnvironments again, GroupHeaders are broken in beta build 13221, nothing we can do about it.

Could you please update AceAddon to latest revision? I'm getting the issues where it's not saving settings aswell. I'll just wait for a working version :)

Sounds like it to me as well. I just plain turn the aggro module off since I run other mods to track threat.

I have a problem with health bars displaying the color by class, I have everything else unselected yet my focus and target have their health bars turn red in combat, how do I change this?

that might be an aggro issue..... make sure that ur focus and target have their aggro turned off... this is found under the tab "other"

do u have the health bars of your target frame, set as "color by hostility"? if so take it off.. if not, try setting a custom color for them. just enable the custom color/background options.

I seem to have lost all my bar textures - there are only two to choose from now - I have the Shared Libraries folder up and running.

ALSO - I used to be able to track my RENEW spell by a bar that ran across the unit frame - I forget the name of the PB bar setting that allowed me to do that. I can't seem to get that back.

OK, sorted out my first problem of textures by DLing latest version of the LibSharedMedia;

However, my RENEW problem remains. I can't find the feature to track spells on frames anywhere - was it removed or? That feature was invaluable when working out whether I needed to cast rewnew anytime soon or not.

You shouldn't need to install the library it should be included in PitBull4 unless you're running a nolib (disembedded version) and if you are then you should switch to the normal version. More than likely you needed to install the SharedMedia addon which is not the library.

You're probably looking for PitBull4_AuraBar:

Looks like it hasn't bee updated so you'll need to check Load Out of Date addons but I'd be very surprised if it doesn't work.

@drty, I can't replicate the profile settings problems, but another user who was having the problem says it goes away after a /console reloadui

However, the RestrictedEnvironments don't get built properly on beta atm which breaks a lot of things we depend on.

So in short, whatever is causing the profile problem is probably related to that and should be fixed whenever Blizzard pushes a new build out.

No errors but, I have my unit frame set to have blank space in the middle between Heath and Mana. Whenever i log in the health and mana bars have grown in Height to the point they are touching with no blank space between them. The fix is to go to layout editor > Bars and simply click on spacing to reset them back to how i had them. Occurs every time i log in.
