Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Is there anyway to change how it displays the information such as name, race and class like in 3.0? I found the options but only to do, Name, Level, Class, Race. I'd like to know how to reverse it so it would be: Name, Level, Race, Class.

Any help is appreciated.

Yeah they made a mistake in a change to the restricted environment. Unfortunately, unless they test with addons themselves there's no way for them to know they broke something. And since most of the unit frames are all broken it's even harder for them to know.

The last patch broke the raid/party frames again. Not sure what bliz is doing with their restricted frames :/

I know I asked about the future possibilities.

All classes have raid wide buffs and debuffs with long or very short duration, what are never checked. As warrior I can have up to ~10 debuffs on target, and see them all increased is very uncomfortable. As druid I want to see increased hots on targets, but dont want to see increased motw and thorns. etc

You can have sizes increase for the ones you cast, but you can't adjust the size more than that. RIght now there's no way for the filter system to alter anything other than if an aura shows or not.

i am not pleased that every1 is showing off in pirate crap, sure its pirate day but it would be nice if there was a way to disable this nonsence. i took this addon because it was better then the rest, not some joking around giving people stuff they didnt ask for.
time to find an alternative

I know this is going to sound ridiculous but my 3D portraits show each character naked, wearing a pirate hat. Yes, that sounds like a joke, but I'm really not kidding. It's actually starting to get on my nerves... any possible explanation/solution?

Well I'm using v4.0.0-beta11-12-ga36962c. Is there one more recent? If so, where? I couldn't find it anywhere on here to download.

Also, before you ask, PB4 was the ONLY addon I had installed.

One other question, I asked this on the forums but I don't know if you saw it. Are you going to be implementing the eclipse bar for balance druids, like you have runes for DKs?

No because if some sort of odd buff/debuff is showing that doesn't exist then it's a Blizzard bug. I've seen all sorts of weird things happen like buffs showing twice. Not much we can do about it when Blizzard gives us bad data.

As a mage got some very weird stuff in party and raid frames. First as a group, I keep seeing the focus magic buff under my party frame, even though I dont have focus magic. It will expire, and a few seconds later re-appear, and then a few seconds later expire etc. It also shows my molten armor buff. Now when I convert to a raid, using the exact same style, neither that weird focus magic, nor my molten armor buff (which is what I want) show up. Again same layout style, and the filter is set to default buffs. If I apply the raid style to the party, or party style to the raid, it does not affect this. So somehow being in a party the buff filters are treated different than being in a raid, plus that focus magic bug.

To be clear, I DONT want to see molten armor when im in a raid, which is what the default buff filters accomplishes. But as a party it does show it (which I dont want either.

Actually I figured out how to remove molten armor and everything else I dont want. So all thats left is the focus magic appearing and disappearing. Should I submit a ticket ?

Again I'm positive this has nothing to do with PitBull4. In fact I just loaded Tourguide and it's working fine for me.

Sounds like you have some other issue.
