Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Great mod guys, keep up the good work. I've been running 4.0 for a while now and haven't run into any problems yet, using grid to cover the missing raid frames, can't wait 'till they're up. Love the layout editor, only request might be a layout rename function, I haven't found it if its there, so I apologize if I missed it.
I've had some real life stuff come up so I haven't really had a chance to finish up on a lot of stuff. What I was working on was fixing a bunch of group issues. Which is related to the party pets not ordering the way people want. I figured that was more important than new functionality.
Seriously, please don't bitch because stuff isn't done. As I've said before, stuff gets done as we have time to work on it.
What's the status on Visual Heal? Or is so hard to rewrite the code to include this lib? I'm just curious...
I used PitBull3. Coming from a non-gamer background, PitBull3 was extremely daunting as I did not understand a quarter of the language used to describe options and would just have to experiment. I did, however have a working relationship with it in the end. :)
I'm looking forward to trying the new "streamlined" version.
whats the timeline for getting RAID units in there? i'd like to use this more but i tend to do a lot of raid stuff. Thanks, pitbull is by far my favorite interface!

I love where this is going, much better than PitBull3 in terms of usability. Playing around with it, I would really love the option to remove the background from the portrait frame, I think that's the one piece that I'm missing for what I would like to do. The portrait frame's background isn't the prettiest thing if you're using it as anything other than a bar (so the portrait is in front of the bars so the model can overlap).
Are we able to add the spell icon to the cast bar?
Disappearing Target,ToT frames
Hi, !POSIBLE temporary FIX!, i had same proble in the dungeons. And I used before
> one LAYOUT for "Target frame" and other for "ToT frame" <. So i try use Same Layer for "Target Frame" and "ToT Frame" and all start working.In the "combat" not missing "Target frame", and start working "TOT frame" and + working Target frame menu (invite,inspect,trade,compare archi<sub>,etc)" </sub>

And well if they do exists or are ment to, is it possible that they've been missed out on the last version?
On most other areas i like this more than PB3 so i'll just use Grid for raid frames and PB4 for everything else.
just to update. deleting the lua from my WTF and starting over worked, in case anyone has the same issue in the future that i had (getting booted from the game when switching from "disabled" to either "party" or "solo" layout configuration from the top dropdown
Just wanted to confirm the issue Eloora wrote about of Target/ToT/Focus disappearing completely in combat (sometimes)
i love this mod but the only issue im having is when i play on my death knight the runes stay in the top left corner of the screen and i cant seem to move them where my character frame is or lock them to it if there is an way to do it would be very nice mod if it worked right
using the layout editor you create new layouts for each new appearance & behaviour you want to apply to a particular frame.
For example , i have player layout, a target layout, a party layout, a pet layout etc etc.
I apologize if this is a known issue or not. I installed Pitbull 4.0 yesterday, and so far I love it, but I'm getting a strange issue. Every now and then, usually in combat, my target and ToT window will disappear completely. I can target things like normal, but the window just isn't there. Usually after combat it fixes itself. Last nite I had to go almost the entire Loatheb fight without any target windows =\. I'm not sure if a layout setting is causing this or what. I'll try to get some details on reproducing the issue today.
Someone asked about adding an auto hide Party Frames while in raid with more then 5 people. Any chance this is going to be added soon?
Got a quick question, it seems when i go to the layout editor and edit something for a unit bar it edits it the same for ALL the unit bars. So, how do I just edit something for separate bars?
I really like this addon so far, great job.
