Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

* The Show when options have been changed. There is now 5-man raid, 15-man raid and 20-man raid options on top of the existing 10,25, and 40 options. The new options will be unchecked for all frames so you will need to go in and check them appropriately as you desire.
* The state code that determiens which mode the addon in has changed. 5 people in group 8 in a raid will not be treated as a 5 man raid. Individuals using multiple groups for their raid frames one for each party in the raid will probably want to simply check all the boxes. They really are intended to aid you in have entirely different setups for different size raids. This change was mostly required by the rework of the state code to be a state header, this allows groups to be shown and hidden while in combat. Yes this means logging in while in combat will still show your proper group frames.
* If you've changed your aura borders and their color options from the default you will need to reconfigure them. The border system was rewritten to allow more flexibility. It's not possible to configure them as they behaved in PB3. Or simply make them a single color.
* The modules are now separate split out addons that are loaded on demand as needed. The libraries that they need are included in these modules. If you're not using DogTagTexts then LibDogTag will not be loaded by PB4. This should improve performance for people using LuaTexts in an embedded setup. Please don't complain about how many folders this puts in your addons folder. There are good reasons for things being done this way.
* All bars can now be colored by class, hostility and for hunters pet happiness.
* A new module for fading modules based on their hostility has been added.
* CastBars can show that casts are not interruptible and have configurable colors similar to what we had in PitBull3.
* You can now turn off frame snapping besides just holding shift through the dropdown that controls locked/unlocked/unlocked without snap state.
* Improved options for the RangeFader module, you can now choose the method to find out if a unit is in range.
There were of course numerous bug fixes. Of particular note:
* Totems and VoiceIcon now properly show again after the world map has been opened and closed.
* Fixes for errors with Portrait in config mode and a fix for the Portrait module not updating when targeting units out of range.
* Fix problems with ComboPoints not showing up again when changing targets.

And this is the page for PitBull4. PB3 is, as I would describe it on life support, until PB4 hits release. Only major bugs are being fixed. The above error is not major. Use /focus or a keybinding to set focus.
I have been testing pitbull 4 for quite some time now.. and its an amazing frame addon.. except 3 things that i have noticed:
*some times.. usualy when i am in a combat in general and i press my totem button.. the totem doesnt appear in the totem bar.. it shows only the time remaining. I can fix this by doing /console reloadui but it will happen again sooner or latter..
*When i am in a raid ( and i have party not to show ) i keep getting spammed "you are not in a group" system msg in the chat whenever i try to cast something..which is realy annoying.
*At the simple aura editor settings there is a collum in which you can check all the buffs that you want to show on friends. well as i was trying it out.. i un-checked every songle one of them and i see no difference whatsoever.
I dont know if there is something i am doing wrong about all these or if its a bug but they are very, very irritating

Just create a new layout while you have the other one selected, then it will be a copy.
Is there some way or a short cut to duplicating/copying a layout?
I wanted to do something like a mirror horizontally of my player frame for the target, but I need to change a couple things to the target frame without altering up the player.
I've been having issues with my threat bar disappearing. This only seems to occur on my hunter (works fine with my druid) when solo - I use the threat bars to know not to pull aggro off my pet. Seems to work fine in groups.
Problem can be solved by opening options and disabling/enabling the threat module, but is somewhat annoying to do several times per session.
Any chance of a sound effect option for full combo points?
Also, I couldn't find the option to remove everything but the health bar from my pet bar, that's a concern too, because it's something that was possible with PB3. As a DK, seeing my Ghoul's energy and name etc isn't really necessary, I just want to see the HP bar to know if he's alive or not.
Is it possible to put the health and power text outside of there bars?
Otherwise, could you add an option such as outsid top, outside bottom to the "attached to" menu, plz ?
Just take a few minutes and look at all these great options, the editor is very powerful. This is a setup similar to the one I am using at the moment:

whether it is possible to add the option of reduction of inscription if it is not placed in a bar, independent of from chosen location (on the left, on the right, etc.)
Great add-on. Just upgraded from PB3 with no problems and find the configurability options much more user friendly and faster to implement. I use PB mainly for Target/Focus Frames etc and VuhDo or Grid for my raid/party frames. One thing that I got with PB3 is that my target and focus frames etc change colours - green-red with health - which is something I find distracting. Any ideas on how I switch this off?

Yeah, I checked and verified that not only the module was enabled, but that it was also turned on in the unit frame option, still no dice.
EDIT: To clarify, I wish I could remember what version of beta I WAS using and what I had upgraded to when I realized it was no longer working, sorry. However when I first installed and setup my Unit Frames it was fine, and then at one point or another on one of the updates is just magically stopped working, I had NOT made any changes to the configuration I had, as after I initially set it up there was no need.
