If you want Outlines add: Outline() somewhere to your LuaTexts. Putting it as the first line of the LuaText will work fine.

There are LuaTexts to do the number of people targeting. Pretty sure if you dig through the ElitistJerk or forums.wowace.com threads you'll find one. Basically task is to iterate all the group ids targets and check if they are UnitIsUnit the unit your current frame. Keep track of the ones that are true and then display the number you come up with. You'll need UNIT_TARGET, PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED and RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE as the events, set to run regardless of arguments (all option). If you can't find one come back and I'll write one up real quick.

Ok loving Pitbull 4.0, I have been a Pitbull fan for years and this new version is a lot easier to play around with.

However I'm having an issue - I set up my Party, Party pets, and Party Target groups the way I want them in the party config mode - however when I enter a party my party members appear on the Party Pet UF, and party targets appear on both the Party and Party target UF's. Have I done something wrong? When I go back into config they are listed correctly.

If you are looking for text popping up telling you the amount of healing, that is part of Combat Text under Layout Editor >Text and you can attach it to the whole unit frame (inside and out) or a bar of the unit frame.

If I'm misunderstanding your request then give me some more info on what you see and what you want to see (how they are different). :)

Did you turn on portraits and not use "position as bar" such as in this sample:

If so right clicking on the picture won't work, but right clicking on the raid frame itself (the bars part) should still work.

Hey, sorry for such a nub question but i downloaded/installed PB 4.0 (upgraded from 3.0) and it seems that I cannot left or right click my portrait and it kinda sucks because I cant leave groups!
I'm pretty sure there is a simple answer to this and thanks in advance:)

For some reason, I can't target myself or my pet when Im on my hunter. But I can target myself on my rogue or any other character.. what could cause this?

How are you trying to target yourself (F1 key, clicking on frame, clicking on physical character).

The first two options work fine both with and without Pitbull.
The last option does not work both with and without Pitbull and is set by Blizzard. (And no I do not know how to change that atm. ) You should still be able to click on your pet though... tested with both hunter and ghoul.

I can target my pet fine by clicking on himself, although I am unable to target him by clicking on his unitframe. As for myself, I'm trying to target myself by clicking on the unitframe, and no matter how hard I click, I'm not able to target myself in any way.

As for F1/2/3/4 etc, Ive keybinded those into abilities (aspect/stealth etc) so Im not using those to target.

btw, Ive checked if my hunter has any addons on which my rogue doesn't, and that's not the case. So I guess it can't be an addon interfering (sp?).

Is it possible you have click through enabled?

Go to Units > Player and see if its checked. If so, unchecking that will solve your issue. :)

There has been an intermittent Blizzard bug floating around that does seem to interfere with the mouse. (A few people reporting invisible non-clickable frames) Can you log completely out of the game and then try again when you load back in? This does seem to fix the issue for soem people.

If you still can't target your self via your frame please type /framestack and hover your mouse over the frame and then take a picture of the tooltip.

nope, click through is disabled. Ive also tried copying my rogue's profile but that did not work either.. I am out of ideas now :P

When you logged out you closed the game client completely?

I'm not sure if its comforting or not to know that its not just you seeing this.

I ran into the issue trying to take an item out of my bank the other night. Made me a crabby patty >:[

yep, completely out of the game client :).

It's (somewhat) comforting for me that Im not the only one :P but I can see how it's everything but comforting on your side..

Anyway, It's not like I need to target myself all the time as a hunter (or any other character Im playing atm :P) so Ill just wait patiently :)

! I think I found it!

I disabled clique (my hunter uses clique for some stuff, my rogue does not but still enabled) and I can target myself! :D
