Sometimes my pally casts a heal my target frame fades (ran oor) but the heal still hit; other times it doesn't so it's hard to predict whether stop a cast and run into range then recast or finish the cast and hope it hits and if it doesn't then it was time wasted.

I tested it on my lock on a friend who stood still. ran away, his frame faded but it was an extra 4 steps away before i wasn't able to buff him detect invisibility anymore.

Anywho it was just a suggestion if it can't be done it's no biggie :)

okay, i will disable party frames in raid.

i don't want to use the cast bar from pitbull. if i disable the cast bar module, or just disable the cast bar for the Player layout, i don't see my blizzard cast bar, or a cast bar from any other addon.

any hint here?

fennia, Nope you should just disable the party frames in raid. Can't really do it the other way around.

hi ;-)

is it possible to hide the raid group which the player is inside? i already see my group because of party frame.

i found the filter option for the Raid unit group, but i can only filter main tanks, main assists, and disable group 1-8 ... this is not very helpful, because i do not know in which group i will be after joining a raid ;-)

sorry for bothering you all, but i liked pitbull3 very much, and now i am trying pitbull4 with a very detailed configuration.

It's going off the number of people and the groups they're in. If there are more than 10 players it's a 25 man raid, more than 25 it's a 40 man. If all members of the raid are in your party then it's treated as a party and not even a raid. If someone is in group 8 and there's 2 people in the raid it's treated as a 40 man. If someone is in group 5 and there's 2 people in the raid it's treated as a 25 man.

How do you disable snapping? I want to put my focus frame in between my character and target frames, but it keeps snapping to one or the other. I'm not even sure if that's the right term, but what I mean is it moves to connect with one frame or the other; it can't stay in the middle.

hi guys, it's me again.

Groups > Showed when in ...

as i saw, you can choose between party, 10-man raid, 25-man raid and 40-man raid if you wish to show groups in special situations. what i like to know is, how pitbull will determinate in which "situation" i'm currently in?

is a 12-man alterac valley (40 player battleground, which is not full at the moment) a 25-man raid or 40-man raid?

is a 15-man arathi basin (15 player battleground) a 10-man raid with 5 players missing, or a 25-man raid with 10 unfilled frames? or maybe a 40-man raid, d'oh!!?

You have to make separate groups if you want the positioning to be static by group. Then just filter each group by the group number.

In a 10 man setup, how can I make it so people from Group 2 don't roll over into group 1, without making an additional pitbull group? ie, if my Group1 isnt full, can I prevent other characters from automatically rolling over into it, without filtering it for Group 1 only?

Hi there, Up to now i was using Pitbull v3, it's great addon, so I decided to update to 4.x but there is different configuration. Question is: Is there any possibility to export layout form old Pitbull to version 4.0. I mean if there is any option bullet-in or any parsing script or another addon for achieve that. Sorry, it this question was already mentioned, but there are 53 pages discussion without search tool and I didn't find it at documentation.

Turn off the target unit and use the settings under the Hide Blizzard module to turn the Blizzard one back on.

with your lastest build, when in config mode for party, raid10, raid25, raid40, no units appear while in config mode. :(
