PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic and Wrath Classic!
Some things that are different with the Classic Era version:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.
I added an option for it in the PvPIcon module. I didn't make it the default because they look pretty bad at the default size
In reply to nebula169:
Hey man, love PitBull and have been using it for years - I was just wondering a couple of things:
1. Would it be possible to enable BigDebuffs compatibility?
2. Would it be possible to make it so the absorb effects appear over the top of the health frame instead of extending out past it?
Thanks for your work keeping this addon going for so many years!
With visual heal enable, only the next tick of the hots are showing. Any way to show the incoming heal for the remaining of the hots timer instead of only the next tick ?

Having exact same issue. Disabling omnibar fixes it but oh well..
Masque works fine for me, there is some other issue that is causing the Aura module to fail
Edit: It should be fixed in v4.2.8
Just echoing the aura/display issues amongst other things.

In classic my auras showed who applied them to me, but in TBCC it doesn't anymore, where that used to be it's showing me the spell id. Is this an option I need to change? I couldnt find it anywhere.
Getting this error on ptr repeatedly.

For classic or retail?
Oh, I see the problem, may as well fix it for both
Edit: It should be fixed in v4.2.7 for retail now
In reply to nebula169:
Also getting an error like this, curious what caused this to happen since no updated to pitbull retail since March? Looking forward to an update, switched to default until fixed.
In reply to nebula169:
Sorry should've said, was on retail (9.1) ptr.
Hello
When I logged on today I noticed that my pitbull unit frames are acting kind of glitchy. For example some times when clicking a target the target frame takes a bit to load any text (hp, lvl, name etc), and suddenly I don't have any buffs or debuffs attached to my unit frames and I can't figure out how to get them back (isn't there supposed to be an Aura pane in the Layout editor?). The Aura module is ticked on under Modules, but I can't tick it off and on like it's bugged or something.
I've attached an imgur album with a few screenshots along with a gif of the text taking a while to load issue:

Thank you in advance for any help.

I had issues today, too. For me it was the addOn "OmniBar" that is causing lua errors for Pitbull Unit Frames. For me, no unitframes was shown until I disabled Omnibar.
If you don't use Omnibar, disable all other addons and check if the error persists.
edit: While testing I also had that slow loading texts, dont know what was causing that...maybe an outdated addon...
In reply to Aur0r491:
Good tip, I disabled Omnibar and got my auras back, seems like the slow loading text was fixed as well, ty!
In reply to Aur0r491:
Yup. Disabling Omnibar did the trick. thanks!
Didn't have that addon on PTR which is why the issue didn't occur there.
Is this an omnibar issue or a pitbull issue tho? i kinda want to use omnibar^^
Probably mine, every now and again some addon comes along and causes PB module loading to break for whatever reason
