Try updating to beta28, the Hunter issue should be gone.

If you're seeing fps drops after a patch it's probably due to errors being thrown. The best things you can do to help me is:

a) Make sure you have the latest version available.

b) Press Escape in game, go to Interface, Game Tab, Help, Check Display Lua Errors.

Post the errors you're getting, if any.

For what it's worth I have a Frost Mage and I'm not seeing any huge frame rate difference. Especially if I set my pet to stay in one place off screen. So I suspect you have one of the versions that still had some pet code issues, which have been fixed.

There is a problems with Worgens portraits. It show's their full body rather then just face when the box is unchecked.

Known bug in Wow, specifically with the views they have set on the model. Default view is supposed to be portrait, but it's actually the full body. If I change it for this model it breaks other ones.

Could you be more clear about which party frames you're trying to use. Are you using the Blizzard party frames or are you trying to use party frames provided by PitBull4?

Disable the one titled "Pitbull 4 [Happiness Icon]" and reload.

And let me know if that corrects your issue :)

Go to /pb Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames

Is party checked here? Uncheck it to use regular Blizz frames. If Party is Greyed out as an option check what you have under the default Blizzard settings for "Use Raid Style Frames."

I know they mucked about with those settings with this patch (again)

I'm having an issue where i can not see my party unit frames :S i can see the pets in the party just not the party its self any ideas? half my guild use pitbull and they say its working fine for them

And by that I mean in your list of addons do not enable the one called "Pitbull 4 [Happiness Icon]" on the main add on screen from the character select screen.

I'm also experiencing the above but it also seems to be lowering my FPS, but its only with my Hunter pet... Turned all my mods off and added them back one at a time and the drop happens when pit come on

I just updated to the recent version and my pet frames are all sorts of bugged out. Either they don't display, or they show the bar but no texture. I have everything turned on correctly and changed no settings, not sure what's causing it.

There's no edit button, however I found the problem was the happiness icon being checked. Unchecking it resolved this. Some people might want to remove it from their addon folder as it is no longer useful.

I didn't have the Icon turned on but I think it may have been that i had my pet layout Health Bar set to color by happiness

I think there is a difference in Point of View on what is a Beta and what is a release from PB3 to PB4. Shefki is very much a Release is completely complete without things he still wants to add as feature enhancements. So... .its still a Beta.

Boss frames will be added at some point. It has been worked on, but not yet completed.

He is quite busy... but finding someone that has the level of competence that a complex project like PB4 requires that has the kind of time to commit to it..... rather difficult. But serious offers can be PMd to Shefki.

Its certainly not abandoned nor dead at this point. (If it was, Shefki wouldn't have made a point to update it on release day!)
