Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I have a question regarding which version of VisualHeal is correct. I have 2 folders in my interface folder, which show up as 2 different addons with the same name through ACP (there is no '5' at the end of one in ACP). One folder is Pitbull_VisualHeal, the other is Pitbull_VisualHeal5. VisualHeal5 shows as recent being in the 4000's in the TOC, while VisualHeal shows as being in the 3000s still, yet when I remove the older version Curse shows Pitbull as "modified". Is the outdated version required to be ran along side the newer?

The reason there are two Visual Heals is that not all gamers are playing on the same client. (For Example China is not yet on Cata Content) So we include both so that no mater which version the user is using... their PB4 works. The game will only load and use the one that is pertinent to your client.

Having it or not having the version that you aren't using will not affect your game play in any way, as the game will only use and load one version. You can disable it in the addon screen if you want, or remove it entirely, but as you mentioned.. that would then appear modified to the client, because you have in-fact modified the package.

If you are referring to Group config mode... yes. These things do take time. We've had a rough few months outside of the game, so we haven't been able to put in the time that is needed.

The spell id is Drain mana, which they removed this patch. We will update that so you don't get the error.

The other issues you were having with the tabs were from Ace3. We updated that last night, and PB4. So updating to the latest version will fix your issue

Yeah, currently impossible to change any settings since the "layout editor" tab looks nothing like it did pre-patch. Better hope you had your perfect settings or else uninstall until fixed...

I just got pitbull for the first time and when I click the mini-map icon the config menu is just a mess.
The tabs are each on their own row and its impossible to customize anything.

PitBull always hides Blizzard raid frames then entering arena.

It is possible to activate them by checking and unchecking tab "Hide blizzard raid'.

But you need to do this every time you enter arena.

Fix asap plxplx!!!!!!

Please confirm which beta version of PB4 you are using.

Have you tested it without other add ons loaded? If not please list other addons you are also using.

v4.0.0-beta20 was the one i was using... i kept updating and losing in arena because we were enter and im like omg i see my buddy, but then i can see the unit frame slipping into nowhere. like its hiding from me. i checked blizz raid frames to see if theres a issue nope, same settings as before.

i didn't change anything from pre 4.06 to post 4.06.

also maybe its not recognizing where i am in arena.... when i enter it?

Thank you for the reply. That will help us narrow down the issue. I know Blizzard did make changes to how zoning is handled, as we were finding the raid manager popping itself back into the screen on zoning which we fixed last night.

We will look into it as soon as we can, but it will take us a bit.... the chief fixer of issues is still currently at work.

for some odd reason my unit frames keep hiding every time i do arena, but thats the only issue i have been having ever since 4.06

This is not a PitBull4 problem but an intended change on the part of Blizzard. Blizzard uses the party frames now when in arena despite technically being in a raid (as you are in all the PVP areas).

You can control this via the Blizzard Interface option "Used Raid-Style Party Frames" under the Unit Frames settings.
