PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Try adjusting the "padding" under Layout Editor > Bars > General down to 0

I messed around for about an hour and got Pitbull to more or less look like AG Unit Frames except for one thing. When you enable background on Pitbull its larger than the actual frame. I could not figure out how to make the background the exact same size as the unit frame so it would serve as a light darkening of my cast bar when not casting. This is purely cosmetic and it is basically working as I like now.

This is also not working for me.

Yes it is enabled under Indicators for my current layout
It still happens with all other AddOns disabled
I am running version 4.0.0-beta19

Ok well I feel kinda stupid. I couldn't see the bar because I didn,t have any skills that can use it. It makes since now, but there should be a note about that. Since the scrolling combat text tells you about it before that it can be quite confusing.

there seems to be an issue when you roll a new paladin with that, i agree. you get your first skill that uses holy power at lvl 9 but pb4 beta 19 wont recognize that unless you save your profile, reset it and reload it from the one you saved. then holy power is displayed correctly.

Ah yes.. it was actually implemented in an attempt to provide less confusion since you do not earn or have abilities to spend Holy Power on. (Blizzard Frames were acting the same way on the BETA... turning on only after you learn an ability to use them) It should turn on automatically when you learn the skill that would use it at level 9 I believe it is.

Curious that its in the combat text. :)

holy power (for paladins) isnt displayed at all with 4.0.3a. i have tried disabling and reenabling it but no luck. the dk runes and shaman totems are displayed without issues tho.

I've had one other person report this. However, a paladin is my main and I haven't seen it replicated on my end. :[

Can you verify that it is still enabled under /pb > Layout Editor > Indicators > Holy Power? (for your current player layout)
Can you try test with all other add ons turned off and just PB4?
What version number of PB4 are you using?

Does anyone know how to make Pitbull look like the default appearance of AG Unit Frames. I have been messing with it and I can not get it to work. I also can not get the cast bar to cast as it does in AGUF. Right now I am using AGUF for just myself since that part still works and Pitbull for the rest. I would like to only use pitbull if possible. Is anyone familiar with these settings?

Well you can install it if you like. I literally use the default for the Player bar. I make it bigger but the color scheme,cast bar, health bar, etc are all default in placement and relative scale. So just use curse to install it and turn off your default bar mod and enter wow for 2 minutes and you can see it? I could also post a screenshot if I knew how.

a ok, but the problem still persists, perhaps there is a conflict with other addon, but in the blizzard interface options and disable everything, but in earlier product versions of the addon this problem does not exist, but now there, and that's the point ...

I have a problem .. the blizzard raid frames does not disappear, even if all menu options and disabled and do not understand why, in previous versions of PB, it works fine now, no .... can you help me pls (how can I remove Raid Frame of the blizzard) tx.

Go to /pb Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and ensure that you have checked the box for Raid.

If that box is checked and your Blizzard Frames are reappearing then it is another add on causing them to reappear such as Healbot or Vuhdo.

My name is being copied to everyone in a battleground. Only reason some have their actual names is I found a reload works. Though Pitbull should be recognizing these players as not me. And give them their proper names.

I have it set to where party frames swaps to the vehicle controlled. And places the controllers name into the pet frame. Lately with current versions it commits only some members properly to this. While others it swaps around to placing the controlled unit into the pet frame. When its suppose to be placed as noted.
