PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

If you are changing the icon sizes... it changes the icon sizes. Aside from that its kind of hard to determine what you mean by "all funky" in this situation perhaps you may want to consider a picture.

There are two sliders for the icon size. One for buffs/debuffs cast by you, one for buffs/debuffs cast by other people. Some of the example buffs/debuffs are flagged as cast by you some are not. Adjust both sliders and you won't have this problem.

Why is it that when I try to configure the debuffs for my party, the icon sizes get all funky whenever I change them? They don't stick together, they go everywhere and they all change to different sizes. It's extremely annoying.

The "dragons" are not in the config. There is a border for the Elites. You can change its color or turn it on if you turned it off if that helps.

Go to /pb Layout Editor > Other > Border

Is it possible to display the Elite graphic for an elite you're targeting? All I get is a little text in the mana bar and I miss the gold dragon, yet I haven't figured out how to turn it on.

First of all, I LOVE this addon. I used to XPerl a while ago, and this is so much better. I love the customization level and the ease of use.

One problem I'm having though, and I imagine it's an easy solution. How do I turn off Blizzard's default buff/debuff? I'm using Pitbull's around the player frame, but I can't find an option for turning off the default, even after looking through the guide and the faq. I'm sure I'm probably overlooking something simple, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. Found it inside the the Hide Blizzard Frames module. Just didn't look through the modules enough. Thanks for the add-on!

Does anyone know how to only show buffs on an enemy Target that are able to be dispelled? Or even to filter by type like Magic?

There are a couple ways to do this. Currently the highlights under auras is set to trigger off of things you can dispel (meaning if you can dispel magic it will add a highlight to the frame of blue)

You can also make custom aura filters using the Advanced Aura Filter under Modules > Aura

You'll have to make your own filter, the defaults really aren't setup for offensive dispells. I have never gotten around to improving this situation.

Not at this time, however the work to allow this is in progress. It's been in progress for a while but I've been stalled on it due to other things.

@thankyouoakland, No idea on the tanking addon. As far as PitBull4 stuff. It's not duplicating frames. Those are distinct frames. You probably have some on that you don't want you should turn them off. As far as frames being in the middle of the screen. That's where they default to. It's where they have always defaulted to. I'd strongly suggest you go through the guide linked above.

Well and now another PB problem. It kept duplicating the frames, so i reset. Now it drops them right in the middle of the screen where I'm fighting, and lays down several on top of one another. I think I'll uninstall and try it again.

Hey, and I'm not saying do this now or anything. But I noticed it. On the default Bliz frames there is a counter with an Icon showing the time remaining on paladin Consecration until it ends. Would be interesting to have on PB as well :) Like I said, no need to hurry, just tossing a friendly idea for the future haha. I can see you guys are VERY busy. <3
