PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I have another problem, I love PB4.0 but when i convert to raid blizzards original frames dissapears is this a setupthing or is it a known bug?

Ty. I infact use HB on my healer toons. the moment i disabled it on dpser/tank, tehy went puff. ty

It seems pb4 has one bug that appeared later on on pb3. it doesn't hide blizz frames all the time. i only hide player, target, target's target and focus. from time to time they pop up. i go to the modules on cfg and disable and enable and they go away. but thats only temporary... what seems to do that?

It wasn't a PB3 bug or a PB4 bug. Some other addon you have is showing them. See the FAQ linked above for details.

I have a problem with displaying debuffs on my target. If I have different size settings on my own debuffs and others they appear on different levels on my target frame. Look at these screens:

As you can see, it looks fine if my target has other debuffs on him than mine. But not if he doesn't...

Open a ticket and post the WTF/Account/USERNAMEORACCCOUNTID/SavedVariables/PitBull4.lua for me.
I'll take a look at it. You may have found a layout bug in the aura module.

We don't load this library since beta12, it's included in the old VisualHeal module for 3.x support (China). If you have it installed as a standalone you can remove it. If not then some other addon is loading it.

Hello there,
I really like PB4 and i have been using PB addons for a long time.
I am having problems with few things. First of all i cant see raid frames in any way. When i join BG i cant see, nor the raid, nor the members of raid group i am in. When i join skirmish arena i cant see my partner. I cant get focus frame to work.
I never had those problems with PB3 so what did i do wrong?

You need to make a group for raid frames. There isn't one by default. Arenas are raids. No idea why you're having issues with the focus frame.

I'd strongly suggest you take a look at the guides linked above.

Hahahahahopefully that will work fine. I'll try it when I get home! See if I knew more about this I could have phrased my question more clearly. Just out of curiosity what does the status code on the health text do? I should probably go add that back in.

We can't provide this functionality and provide the features we have in the current Aura module. Looking into several ways to provide it, but it won't restore it to the way it was pre-4.0, that's simply impossible.

SUF, never had the features that aren't possible, so they don't have the limitations we do.

And looking at Shadowed Unit Frames, it isn't fixed. They just disabled the code to click them off. Same thing I did back in September.

Since patch 4.0.x in many UnitFrames-addons stop to work disabling self buffs by right-click on them. In Shadowed Unit Frames it is fixed, so when will this option work in my loveling Pitbull ? I'll never change it to any other addon, but simply wanna that all working fine on it =)

VisualHeal is only loaded on WoW 3.x clients, VisualHeal5 is only loaded on WoW 4.x clients. So if you're already on 4.0.1 you can toss VisualHeal.
