PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

ie: isle of conquest highlighting a gate is not showing what its current damage/health is? if pitbull is causing it, how do i fix it to show it?
Hi! Sorry if this is redundant, I've tried googling and searching by hand and can't find an answer, though there's a lot of long threads I'm sure I've missed.
I recently switched from oRA2, which only uses MT targets, to oRA3, which uses MT and MA targets as separate entities. I would like to make PitBull use a single group layout for a combination of MT and MA targets, to emulate the functionality that I had with oRA2. Can I ask if this is possible, please? It feels like a major step backward in terms of usefulness. Thanks!
I was wondering is their a way to copy all your PitBull 3 settings and configs too the PitBull 4 ones?
Ah, well I guess I should have downloaded the latest before coding it up... ;)
I did do some hacking of some of the default, hi-res textures. They look pretty nice, so I'll offer them anyway if y'all are interested. Maybe you prefer to use the default textures. Up to you, of course.
Daedhir, We already have one since beta8.
Can I interest you guys (the developers of PitBull4) in an icon module for party role when using the Dungeon System? I've made it and tested it, and I haven't found any bugs. I'd be happy to contribute it.
How can I set the Target frame to fade (alpha) at 30 yards, regardless of who my target is? I know where to set up the fading, but I don't see an option for a specific distance. I see Class abilities, but as a DK it's not a great choice.
Ideally I would like it to fade a 30 yards for enemies (Death Grip range), or 40 yards for friendlies (healing range). Is this possible?
Tell the HealBot author to look at the PitBull4_HideBlizzard module in particular the UpdateFrames() function for how he should be doing this to avoid overriding settings like this.
In the Healbot settings (Skins->General) there is a checkbox for "Hide party frames". I had that checked already. But next to it is an option to "Include player and target". That was *not* selected. Selecting that solved the problem for me. Apparently, not having that selected caused Healbot to override Pitbull hiding the Blizzard frames.
One problem though. I've noticed several postings in different forums about a problem in which the Blizzard frames keep coming back at times (after entering an instance, for example), and I experience that as well. As a matter of fact, one person entered that as a bug on a WoWAce forum and the developer ended up marking it as "Invalid".
I have narrowed down the problem (at least on my set-up) to what seems to be a conflict between Pitbull (version 4 beta 8) and Healbot (version 3.3.0.6).
