You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I'll dig around and try to figure who is being bad! Do you have any idea if this also might be the case for the frames Blizzard uses for the Airship Battle event in ICC?

After a great deal of investigation I found the issue, the Arena Frames, and I bet the frames for the Airship event, are tied the the Mini-map. I am using a mini-map mod, Chinchilla, to move the mini-map to the bottom of the screen, when I turn it off I can see the arena frames. I'll let them know.

Posting this here since you said you get this complaint, I bet the issue is similar.

Okay here is a quick rundown of how to setup the frames.

First create a layout. (I currently use 5 layouts, myself, target, targets target, raid, everything else).
Next go under units and groups and assign each unit or group a layout. (my party, party targets, pet, pets target, and targets target all use the same layout)
Adjust individual settings for units and groups (this includes mirroring the frame and scaling)

You can use as many or as few layouts as possible, it all depends on what information you want to show for each frame.

Check your show when settings under the party group. There were some changes a while back with respect to how this stuff is done and if you haven't updated in a while you may just now be seeing this configuration change.

Hey guys just a quick question. Long time PB3 user here, looking to switch to 4 since 3 is no longer being updated. I'm just wondering if PB4 is ready for use yet or will I lose a lot of features PB3 has/had? I see the following text in the description here and it's making me nervous about trying it. My PB3 setup is pretty customized as far as HP/Mana bars, textures, colors, and fonts. I'm not using any completely crazy dogtags in them though.

Changing from PB3 to PB4 was scary for me. I swapped over a few months ago. It's definitely a lot different... BUT... so much simpler and it seems like there's a lot of unique/fun things you can tweek now. My suggestion? Dive in. You're going to have to change over to PB4 eventually (as PB3 will no longer be supported, from what I understand) and so you might as well get it over with. Good luck! Thanks, it'll give me something to do this weekend. Guess it's time for a major UI overhaul anyway since I haven't changed the look in over a year now. Hopefully I won't need much/any help since PB4 is supposed to be simpler to configure right?

One suggestion for this would be to enable a healer mode. Keybind click on unitframes healing ... similar to mods such as healbot.

For now using Clique with Pitbull to facilitate this option. However, would be nice if Pitbull could do this on its own. Without the need for a secondary mod taking up space.

so...will setting up an additional layout add new options? or do i need to set up up a layout for each and every unit frame? if i do need to set up a layout for each unitframe, how do i know which layout controls what?

@vaelan Without knowing what errors you are receiving, there is no way to identify your problem with 3.0. If you want to use 4.0, and I recommend that you do, you should delete all of the 3.0 stuff and recreate your setup.

@bluheim No, they are two separate addons and you will have to configure 4.0 independently.

@jman1761 Your SS appears to have the buffs in the location you describe as your desired location.

@Akthos If you want different settings for buffs between different unit frames, you need to setup multiple layouts. If you are already using multiple layouts, you can just disable auras for player & target's target.

@PirestNyahm If you go into modules, under aura you can set specific filters for buffs. However, i have found the configuration of pitbull buffs to be cumbersome and I recommend Satrina Buff Frames.

Was wondering if it's possible to configure pitbull to show a specific debuff on the bars in the form of an icon for like the "Impale" debuff that stacks. If this is possible, can anyone please help in how this is done?

i just recently started using pitbull 4 for my new DK and so far i've been very pleased with it. The only complaint i have is that it doesn't seem to be able to separate buffs/debuffs from any of the unit frames. I'd like to show buffs and debuffs for my target only, and not for my player or targets target frames. Is there an option to do such a thing?

I have downloaded a UI and there is supposed to be text, such as names, health, etc., on the "Blank Space" bar, but it is not showing up, is there a certain module for this, or some way I can add it myself?

I'm having an issue with Full Body 3D Models. Most work just fine but there are several mobs where they seem to be zoomed in really far and it's almost just like a giant block of their hair or something showing. I have my 3D Portraits showing over the Health Bar and when it goes into a giant zoomed in view, I can't see their health bar very well. Is there a way to correct this?
