Skada Damage Meter
Skada is a modular damage meter for World of Warcraft with various viewing modes, segmented fights, and customizable windows. It is designed for efficiency with minimal memory and CPU impact.
"Skada" is Swedish for "Damage".
Midnight Edition (WoW 12.0+)
This version of Skada is updated for World of Warcraft: Midnight and uses Blizzard's new session-based combat systems.

Usage
Getting Started
A default window is created upon first load. Access the configuration menu by clicking the cog icon on the window title bar or via the minimap button. Select Configure to access settings.
Multiple Windows
Skada supports multiple windows. Create new ones under the Windows section of the configuration panel. Windows can be:
- Bar: The standard customizable meter.
- Inline: A horizontal line for custom UI setups.
- Data Text: For LDB displays and minimal setups.
Navigation
- Left-Click: View more detailed information.
- Right-Click: Return to the previous view.
- Mousewheel: Scroll through lists.
- Tooltips: Hover over bars to see additional context and shortcut keys (e.g., Shift-click for targets).
Themes
Manage window designs with the built-in Theme Engine. You can import and export themes by using theme strings.
Versions
- Midnight (Default): For WoW 12.0+ using the Native API.
- Classic Version: The version for older WoW releases.

Posted Dec 8, 2012I've encountered a problem lately where skada disappears and stops logging data. I can make skada reappear using /skada toggle, but it still won't log data till I /reload interface. I don't get any bug reports when this happens. The problem appears when I enter a new zone mainly

Posted Dec 1, 2012Did a dungeon this morning and realized with patch 5.1 you can no longer use party chat to report meters. Party is now "instance" channel when in a dungeon.

Posted Dec 6, 2012yes it would be nice to add the new " instance " channel ( /i ) added in 5.1 to the addon , as it replaces all the LF(G/R) and Battleground channels , party and raid can still be used if premaid :)

Posted Nov 29, 2012Hi mate. I've found amazing bug.
I'm using pet named exactly like my hunter (for pvp distraction purposes).
When I'm using Skada with that pet it doesnt merge damage. If I use any other named pet it just works perfectly.

added: sometimes when hearthstoning or porting into a dungeon, skada will hide itself,and not work, and I have to reload for it to work again. any idea why?

Posted Nov 18, 2012please, please, please ... this bug has been existing since aaaages and is NOT skada related ! it's the intrnal blizzard glyph addon (yes, the original blizzard wow client uses addons) that has a bug, and the internal client watchdog blames some random (!) 3rd party addon for it ... disable skada, wait a couple of days, and you'll see the bug happen again, only to blame some other addon now -.- it's not skada, and moving over to recount won't help ...

Posted Nov 3, 2012I have a Major Bug. My Skada only shows me the Overall Data. even if i turn to current fight it shows the overall. reinstalled it couple time and deleted the daved variable but nothing helps. I don't get any LuA errors.
another issue: the first 5 lines are ok, but the following lines are more and more aut of the skada window.
