SharedMediaAdditionalFonts
Inserts more than 30 additional fonts into LibSharedMedia's storage.
LibSharedMedia is used as a library in other addons to add resources such as fonts, sounds, images, ... By installing SharedMediaAdditionalFonts, you add fonts to the list of fonts provided by LibSharedMedia to these addons. If your other addons do not use LibSharedMedia, this addon (SharedMediaAdditionalFonts) doesn't do anything.

Echoing same thing here. Definitely a different font, or a different default weight. This made all my various texts look _very_ different.

These are the exact same WeakAuras, no change other than toggling the version of SharedMediaAdditionalFonts installed.
EDIT: Looking at them side-by-side definitely looks like a different font weight being used.

I didn't realize you were referring specifically to the one used by ElvUI xD

Surprisingly enough this one (after I downloaded it) is ALSO called Expressway Rg, but I think ElvUI actually uses a different weight, i.e. not Regular. Anyway, I'm updating it with the ElvUI one right now. Expect a new version soon!

Just for your information, current expressway used is not the same as the one I retrieved from ElvUI some time ago.

Not a big deal, I have commented relevant line in the LUA file but somebody else might notice the difference.

Posted May 22, 2024In reply to FreestyleR: Any time Blizzard bumps the game version, check if "load out of date addons" has been disabled. On the character select screen, bottom left, you'll see a button AddOns. Click on that and a new window opens. Enable the toggle at the top, then continue loading the game. Note: this tries loading outdated addons, some work while others will error. It is a case-by-case basis.

It's up to the AddOns themselves to support SharedMedia. If they don't add support, the fonts will not show. This can't be fixed by this AddOn.

Posted Oct 27, 2020Hello. I use "Lib: SharedMedia-3.0" and I get following error with your addon enabled:
This folder doesn't even exist. I have "Lib: LibStub" installed, but even when it's enabled, error is still there.
Just to be sure I tested following scenarios:
1. Lib: SharedMedia-3.0 enabled
2. Lib: SharedMedia-3.0 and Lib: LibStub enabled
3. Lib: SharedMedia-3.0 and WeakAuras enabled
4. Lib: SharedMedia-3.0, Lib: LibStub enabled and WeakAuras enabled
