SharedMediaAdditionalFonts
Inserts more than 30 additional fonts into LibSharedMedia's storage.
LibSharedMedia is used as a library in other addons to add resources such as fonts, sounds, images, ... By installing SharedMediaAdditionalFonts, you add fonts to the list of fonts provided by LibSharedMedia to these addons. If your other addons do not use LibSharedMedia, this addon (SharedMediaAdditionalFonts) doesn't do anything.

For Russian, Korean and Chinese game clients, LibSharedMedia only registers fonts explicitly marked as supporting that locale.
Here is an example:
LSM:Register (LSM.MediaType.FONT, "DejaVu Sans", [[Interface\Addons\SharedMedia\fonts\deja_vu\DejaVuLGCSans.ttf]], LSM.LOCALE_BIT_western + LSM.LOCALE_BIT_ruRU)

P.S. As far as I see those ones support Cyrillic: centurygothic, DejaVuSans, DejaVuSans-Bold, Expressway-Bold, Homespun, impact, JetBrainsMono-Regular, LiberationSans-Regular, LiberationSerif-Regular, PTSansNarrow-Bold, Ubuntu-C, Ubuntu-L, Verdana, X360.

Posted Jan 21, 2026In reply to Sovyu: SharedMedia is an addon that adds content to LibSharedMedia, which is a library. This addon only adds _additional_ font to the *library*, so it does not need SharedMedia (but it does need LibSharedMedia, which is packaged with this addon).
Any addon can use the LibSharedMedia library if it wants to. If an addon uses the library and you have this installed, you will see the additional fonts.
This will not work for an addon that does not use LibSharedMedia. If so, the addon must use LibSharedMedia for those fonts to appear.

Posted Jan 24, 2026In reply to Sovyu: I noticed that there was a missing dependency that prevented it from loading if another addon (not necessarily SharedMedia) was not providing LibSharedMedia-3.0. This has been fixed and you should be able to only install SharedMediaAdditionalFonts and have it work!

Other addons must rely on SharedMedia in order to be able to see those fonts. You don't need to install SharedMedia yourself, but if the addons you use do not use SharedMedia, they first need to use it for you to see these fonts in them.
