Posted Mar 22, 2026Quick question if anyone figure it our. I cannot seem to be able to not show debuffs on my frame. i created a differnet layoout but still they show up. All the rest seem to be working so far without issues

Posted Mar 22, 2026Dears, I downloaded the midnight ver from github. Deleted the old folder, all saved vars, extracted and renamed the new folder, reset the addon to default. I can't, for the love of god, access the config. Tried various prompts ("/pitbull", "/pitbull config" and all sorts of other, similiar ones), no minimap icon is there, either. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Posted Mar 21, 2026I downloaded it, unpacked it in the addons folder, and nothing happened in the game. The game doesn't see the addon and doesn't open the settings :(
Maybe I shouldn't have deleted version 11.2.7?

delete the old pitbull folder under "interface" - put the folder you just downloaded there and open the settings via "/pitbull config"
still doesnt work for you that way?

Posted Mar 20, 2026Will the dogtags module also be getting updated with this? I can not for the life of me get LUA to do what I can get dogtags to and even the stuff I can get LUA to do I can get Dogtags to do in a fraction of the time.

Posted Mar 21, 2026In reply to Grymm: The DogTag libs are updated if you download those separately to use with the midnight branch (I don't have libs in the repo). The default tags will need to get looked at, but if you remove the alpha and deficit usage I think they're mostly usable.

I'm able to use it, but get a consistent LUA error upon entering a follower dungeon (don't know if it happens for regular dungeons, raids, or delves). Granted that was with me just updating the TOC of the Pitbull (DogTags) module. And yeah that qualifies as very usable for the current state of things. Thanks for all your hard work!

Posted Mar 20, 2026Ah it's so nice to see Pitbull again. Sadly in my case I cannot use it. I downloaded the zip from github and it's super buggy. For example all names come up as {err} and target of target the portrait is freaking out and constantly flickering or refreshing which is super annoying. Plus I keep getting warnings about LUA errors.
I can't wait for this to be fixed because my goodness do I miss my pitbull unit frames! Great work so far though add-on creator. Been a massive fan of pitbull for many many years now ^_^

you need either reset your profile
OR
select your layout and select all texts - and set the code to the preconfigured code snippets
DONT let custom codes be in there - they dont work
