Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Hey
I love this mod but I have only two problems with it :(
One is the focus, I cant seem to use focus anymore as a popup from Blizzard shows saying to disable or ignore the mod. Is there any fixes for this?
The other is I need help getting my party frames back when I am in a raid. I seem to have disabled it somehow. The party frames show when in a 5-main but as soon as I am in a raid, the frames just disappear :(
any help would be grateful.

Open a ticket for the talent spec stuff I'll consider adding it. I'd recommend that you use a text (LuaText, DogTag) to show stuff that's missing rather than the Aura system. It's highly unlikely I'll ever make it show things that are missing. If you visit the thread on the wowace forums (linked above) or the LuaTexts thread on eltitistjerks.com (UI forum) you should find examples how to do this and/or help.

So now I've seen the debuff filter feature and Meta filters o.O... which is just sick by the way. I would like request aura filtering capabilities for talent spec number (GetActiveTalentGroup) and the ability to show a buff icon when it is missing.

I tried timeleft = 0 and count = 0 for missing buffs but it doesn't work.

Example: When I'm specd ret which is my 2nd talent group I want to show seal of blood if I don't have it.

mynickis1234, You can already do this with the filter editor without adding boss debuffs individually. The caster filter has is player controlled and is not player controlled. You'd do this under the Advanced tab. The point of the filter editor was to allow users to do these sorts of things.

Hmm, right click menu works here. You don't have an addon like Clique blocking the right click menu or reassigning it to some other click binding.

Hi I am having problems whith the fact that I don't seem to be able to bring up any group options i.e. leave group change loot rules etc. Possibly I am missing something major here but any help would be much appreciated.

Would it be safe to switch to PB4 right now? I'd assume 3 wouldn't be getting many if any updates anymore and all focus is on PB4. I mean i'm currently having no issues with PB3 and would be a sad panda if I've switched and got issues then :[

I've been using PB4 for awhile and have had no issues. You're going to have to set up you frames all over again, but it's far far easier (and much more configurable) this time around.

Yeah been messing around with them for a few minutes now on the PTR. I've noticed i still have the auras in the top right by my minimap... Anyone know how can i get rid of them using pb4? or is this maybe a 3.2 bug? and zomg the options windows again :[ /cry the global settings are something that's going to take a bit to get used to

I have an extra layout assigned to my Raid frames. In that layout, i disabled the Aura stuff. So no Raid frame has an aura shown. You can disable the Aura for the layout in the LayoutEditor, inside the Aura tab.

For you Target Frame, just create a new layout, or use an already done layout, and go to the Units panel. In the Units panel you can choose "Current unit" -> "Target" and enable it, if necessary. Then assign the layout to the Target frame.

If you Party frames are not shown, look in the Groups panel, whether this Group is enabled, or not. If the Group is enabled, check for "Shown when" at the bottom of the Groups panel (maybe you must scroll inside the Groups panel).

Thanks.. i didnt know that.. Another question..

I have now tried to make it show aura's. And i have same problem.. the whole raid is having the aura's shown.. and its like i cant make a "target frame" in layout section?

Aswell, as when im in party i the party frames is not shown! -_-

I am new to this add-on.. So would love some help with above mentioned things!

Curatios, are you using different layouts? If not, please create different layouts for the Raid and for the Player frames. You can create layouts with the LayoutEditor. Then assign one layout to the Player frame, the other to the Raid frame. You can assign the Layouts in the Units and Groups panels.

If you already using different layouts, maybe you assigned the same layout to both frames.

Or maybe it is just a bug.

Hi,

Im currently working with this Pitbull4. I have got the raidframes set as i wanted them to look.. How ever, when i want my mana-bar shown in my own playerframe, it adds the manabar to all the raidframes.

Further more, i have names written with small letters in those manabars in raidframes.. What do i do, to removes the above mentioned?!

Recently updated to this over the older PB3 and am, thus far, very pleased. It did take me a while to figure out how to configure everything, and I'm sure there is still more for me to learn. I do have a question currently concerning the target buffs/debuffs. I can't seem to get any tool tips for different buffs/debuffs on the unit frames, is this possible?

This is a limitation of how we're implementing pet frames at this time. It's on my todo list to allow you to select which way of doing it. I just haven't gotten to it.
