PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

This is fixed in the current alpha.
I currently have flickering aura icons when I set the frame strata to "Background" or "Low" (I choose background because else there are always some windows from the standard UI that are below the Pitbull frames).
The icons flicker only when I choose to display the "time remaining spiral", and only for auras that do have a timer (whether it be a 20-sec CD or a 4-h buff). I tested this with only activating Pitbull 4 addons/modules, with no other addons activated, and it still occurred. I thus presume that this problem is not caused by any other addon interfering with Pitbull.
If there is a solution to this problem, I would appreciate any pointers.
The Buff "Clarity of Will" missing.
Der Buff "Klarheit des Willens" fehlt.
Einfach die Zeile in die Datei "Filter.lua" dann funktioniert es. :)

Thanks for the report, will fix.
Hiya. Loving Pitbull. Been using it for a long time now. It fits perfectly with my custom UI.
However, I have one thing that I find incredibly frustrating - the Consolidated Buffs. It's part of the default Blizzard UI, but I can't seem to find a way to replicate it in Pitbull. Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about: http://i.imgur.com/AOqirvh.jpg
That icon, as I'm sure you know, when hovered over, will tell you how many of the available raid/party auras you have. It's very helpful, especially to Hunters. I really don't want to have my default Blizzard buffs enabled, but I can't figure out how to replicate it in Pitbull :'( Halp?
Never bothered to implement it. It's on my todo list.
Well since the buff STILL are broken is there any way to turn off the swarls? That might be whats doing but but I dont see that opstion in the settings.
With the PitBull4_Extras addon. But I have no idea if it's still working I don't think the maintainer is around anymore.
Is there a way to show the standard "class" icon" Rogue, Druid, Mage etc? I see all the different modules in PitBull for setting different indicators, but I don't see this one. am I missing something?
Did you close WoW by Alt-F4ing or clicking the x? All interface settings for every addon are only saved if you exit the proper way.
Whats the point of it auto making profiles for each character if it doesnt save? I just made a new character, created a new profile for it, tried copying it from my hunter (only other character) and it just reset every single setting I've ever made across both characters...
I just want to say thank you for, if nothing else, adding in strata control to pitbull. You have no idea how important that becomes once you use a lot of addons.
How does one configure the placement of text better? No x and y positions available?
Sorry no it's a calculated layout system. Supporting offsets in that sort of setup is difficult.
Hello, is therea feature for highlighting stealable/dispellable buffs on an enemy target? xperl did this but i am switching to pitbull, and the only option i am seeing for dispel highlighting is the whole frame.
I can't seem to get the fading right for my needs. I would like to fade a unit bar unless they are within range, health missing, hostile. I see the options there, but it seems as though i can only set range. Anything else I set puts it as constant fade. Any thoughts?
What class, the range fading is based on the class, sometimes it doesn't work right if Blizzard changes the spells and we miss it.
Hi,
is there any way to set up boss frames in Pitbull?
I read http://forums.wowace.com/showthread.php?p=325329&highlight=boss#post325329, but not sure if "boss frames as singletones" were implemented or not. Can't find anything related to boss frames in settings. Please advise.
How did you figure out how to do this? This has been bugging me for a long time, especially now that I'm playing a Hunter and need to see which buff I need to select as Lone Wolf.
Hello,
i searched a lot around in answers and in the guide, but the only thing that can relate a little to my question is that ticket, closed in 2010.
http://www.wowace.com/addons/pitbull4/tickets/670-aura-filters-request-player-has-should-consolidate/
What i'm trying to do is to hid, in the default buff configuration, the party/raid buff on the player that normally are stacked in the Blizzard UI.
It's possible in any way?
Thanks in advance, keep on the hard work
