PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Blizzard protected the function to destroy totems :\ I haven't had a chance to look into using secure templates to destroy them, don't suppose you know of a macro to do it?
i am having an issue where when i pvp, all of the targets have a border on them (it is always blue for me). i have disabled every module individually, and it has not removed the border at all. does anybody have any additional info on this?
i don't have this issue with any pve mob, i only have it on the opposing faction.
*edit* figured it out. it was showing spellsteal
modules -> aura filter editor -> advanced -> mage can purge
Monks with Ascension and the Drenor passive are only displaying 5 Chi instead of the 6
It don't seems to track the second rejuvenation added with the Restoration Druid Level 100 talent Germination.
Every else works fine keep the good works ! :)
Since the new expansion it won't swap fram with vehicle.
Odd... since the new release I can't get Pitbull to override WoW frames. If I have some mental disability here please point it out.
I don't suppose there's a way to have duplicates of certain unit frames? For example, two target frames, utilizing the hostility fader to have a different unit location depending on whether friendly or hostile.
Thank you.
Generally my FPS is above 100 when playing, although occasionally when I target a mob my FPS will drop to under 20. It doesn't matter what's happening on-screen, where I am or what I'm doing, when this happens my FPS will always drop under 20 until I no longer target that target. I can even just target the character, watch my FPS drop, then deselect the character and watch my FPS go up to normal again, so I really have no idea what's going on!
My computer specs are, i5 3570K, GTX 770 & 8GB RAM.
I disabled the auras for the player frame completely. But whenever the alpha changes (entering combat/leaving combat/select a target...), I see the auras for a few seconds. Under certain circumstances (I don't know exactly), they don't disappear until the alpha changes again. There is no lua error.
I'm receiving error when I log in:
Message: ...erface\AddOns\PitBull4_HideBlizzard\HideBlizzard.lua:125: attempt to index global 'CompactRaidFrameManager' (a nil value)
This causes the "Hide Blizzard Frame" module to bug out so Blizzard party frames won't be hidden. Module will start working once I disable and enable the module in the gui. Have to do this every time I log in with a character.
When I first saw the error, I was really confused on how it could happen as the frame should always be present before login. PM me your config and I'll see if i can add some compatibility code around the problem.
I got bit of extra information to this occurence. The error still strikes every time I log in / reload my UI. I have to disable and enable the "Hide Blizzard Frames" module in the GUI every time or the party frame stays visible. There's nothing else after I do this step.
Error is occuring even when pitbull is the only addon installed and using newest version of course. Surprisingly, if I delete my old config file (pitbull4.lua, in the WTF/Saved Variables folder), the error disappears.
Is there really any other sensible way to get rid of this, other than completely reconfiguring the whole addon? My pitbull config file is back from start of cataclysm and has been pretty much untouched since then.
Pitbull causing errors with clicking quest items on the Quest Tracker. This specific one was from Darkmoon quest to throw frogs in the cooking pot (Putting the Crunch in the Frog).
Here's the swatter report:
@danszczerba
You'll have to wait until those addons are updated, doesn't have anything to do with the main PitBull4 addon
Well I guess I can just turn OFF buffs and debuff or just downgrade to the older verson that worked before this thing with the buffs started.
Nothing has changed with auras except filter spells and disabling the blizzard count down number. Plus I have no idea what you're talking about.
Config mode, the dropdown on the top-left of the options panel.
Thank you for the response and thank you for the help :D
Anyway you would be able to implement being able to move the bars while being in combat? I have tried to move my pet's target bar everyway I could possibly think of and it just stays in the middle of my screen where I do no want it. Or if there is a way to move the pet's target bar could you inform me?
@nebula169: it was unchecked for the purpose of the picture showing the out-of-date modules. BUT, even with the "load out of date addons" button checked i still have no names on my bars, as shown in the pic below:
plus, i can't find anything about names or nameplate in the config menu. i also disabled all out-of-date addons, except "Pitbull 4 Nameplate", to check for conflicts, but with all disabled i still have no names :-(
