PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

you can add a newline character "\n" to the text and the text will stay aligned with the side of the frame (left/center/right) it's anchored to
I'm seeing an issue where the name text in my player frame vanishes when the health bar is full. If I move the frame it occasionally reappears but it's very sporadic. My target frame is an exact copy of player with the text reveresed in alignment and it always appears so I'm not sure what the trigger is. The name will reappear if the health bar is not full. The issue has been there since the v6 patch, I was waitiing on updates to see if it got fixed but no luck yet.

Any ideas/help appreciated, thanks
Confirmed, Beta54 fixes this issue, many thanks for the swift update. Great work
What is the error?
Hello,
I get an exception thrown for my faders setup looking for the module "aura". This first appeared in v4.0.0-beta52 and I thought this update would fix it. This wasn't the case. Does range fader dependent on class abilities now require the aura module? It worked fine in previous iterations. If it is not intended I'll write a ticket. :D
Thank you very much.
When I try to update this addon in my curse client, it says 'unsupported url.' I'm just trying to figure out if the issue is on my end or maybe something wrong with curse client and if anyone might have a fix to this. Thank you
Full health numbers seem to have been fixed for raid members, but not for the player layout.See comments to this bug, if you still have the "full health doesn't show up" problem try moving your frames a little:

Did they fix the full health numbers?
You're potentially looking for Padding in Bars > General in your previous question. Note that it will affect your frame dimensions (your bars will compress inward as padding goes up) so you'll need to adjust accordingly. Frames will snap to the outside of the padding. The border remains independent of snapping.
As for this one, I've been having the same (or similar) problem with raid target icons. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. It seems like the raid panels aren't updating faithfully.
And one more post... perhaps a bug report.
When in raids recently, I've noticed that sometimes (most of the time) the ready check indicators aren't showing. It's odd though. Occasionally I do see them. I've set the ready checks as follows...
attach to: unit frame
location: inside bottom
Position: ready check icon
size: 150%
Again, most of the time I don't see the ready check icons, but every now and then they do show up. Ready checks always happen when health and mana bars are full (and relatively static), so I don't have any idea why its working some of the time and not others. It just seems random.
And thanks for the feedback about overhealing. I did have that setting turned on (unknowingly I might add). I'm guessing that will fix the issue without even having yet tried it. I wasn't even aware that this was a feature. Damn, so many ways to configure this addon. It rocks once you figure it all out!
I posted the following on Oct 9th. I'm still seeing this problem on Nov 1, with the lastest updates...
I've been seeing repeated problems with the health bars displayed by this addon. In short, the bars are... too long. When I'm in a raid group, I see this glitch in just about every unit frame. It affects the individual "player" and "target" health bars as well as the health bars within the raid group.
What I see are health bars that go out of bounds and extend beyond the border of the individual frame. The bars just keeping extending beyond the right side of the frame. Also the bars show different colors in the same bar. I've set up my raid groups to show the color of the player's class. But in one screenshot, every bar has a large purple segment that extends the health bar beyond its bounds. It's quite ugly when this happens.
I have screenshots but not sure where or how to post them here.
I think you're talking about Show overheal and Show overabsorb. You'll find both on the Layout editor under Other > Visual heal. Disable them and it should stop heals and absorbs showing up beyond the limits of your health bars.
Question about layouts...
I have borders enabled for my player and target units. size==16 and padding==5
When attempting to align and space the two unit frames close together, Pitbul seems to ignore this border and tries to "snap" the player and targets together based on the dimensions of the bars. The result is the borders overlap and it looks messy. I have to manually nudge the target over a bit to get it to look right.
I looked all through the modules and various tabs within the layout editor and I didn't see anything regarding blank space between frames. I saw a module for blank space for between bars but that was all.
Is there some way to set this invisible padding around a frame that can be used for snapping and aligning the player->target->targetstarget when these units have a border and padding?
@theone1989
really hate that bug :(
Shadow orb bar for both of my priests isn't showing up. This is the lua error I get. (Running beta)
...\AddOns\PitBull4_ShadowOrbs\ShadowOrbs.lua line 12:
assertion failed!
You're running an old version
Some text still still can't show... I've noticed that this problem will disappear once the width of a style is smaller than 240 I tested this on my player frame using default style.
When the width is under 240, everything shows (they are all enabled cos this is default)
Once it reaches 240, certain text elements just disappear.
BTW the width ratio is 130%, when I set it to 100%, the limit will change to 270..
Last update seems to make the buff huge randomly when I target a player or mob with buffs/debuffs not the buff icons but the little glow
@Nebula169 Yes, it's fully enabled. But I have no functionality to customize the position, size, or shape of the module.
Not possible, you can't change mouse behavior in combat. You could certainly make them click-through out of combat, but once combat started, you'd be stuck with it.
