PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

can you merge debuffs that r the same?
In raid i can only fit 4 debuffs on the bottom row, and in a battleground a teamate had 4 frostbolt slows debuff (i think 3 from his mirror images?) which took up the whole debuff line then i couldn't see any other debuffs he had if he required dispelling.
thx
Seem's curse updated to a beta48/79/g706977f even with it set to only release and all the profiles are gone yay.
Your settings being lost probably has nothing to do with the update. Read the 3 FAQs starting here:

Can someone help me resolve this error. Ever since I tried to make Pitbull to show group # on my heath bar whenever I enter a raid group the following error keep popping up.

Stop using DogTagTexts. LibDogTag is for all practical purposes not maintained anymore. You might be able to fix it by instaling LibDogTag separately if someone has bothered to fix this since the last time PitBull4 was released. But long term things like this are going to keep happening.
In fights with shields, like Malkorok, my raid frames get covered up with purple shield bars. How can I fix this?
I guess I could add space on the right hand side of the bars?
Or is there a way to disable shield display? I couldn't find it under the health bar options, and I can't find any shield options.
Aha I found the setting for the shields. It's in:
Layout editor > Other > Visual heal >
Show overheals
Show overabsorb
I turned them both off.
Any feedback on the newest beta version? I'm always wary of updating right away since the last time it broke my ui (reset all of my pitbull settings) unrecoverably after I updated.
can someone make a new version for MoP? and in the future, make somebody a version for Warlords of Dreanor?
If I use pitbull my fps drop to about 5 out of combat and 1-2 in combat. Do you know of any conflicts with other addons? I have updated to the newest version.
Is there any possibility to use pitbull-ui along with the blizz buffs/debuffs? i really dont like pitbulls auras...
So just wondering, does this addon disable the boss health bars now? If so, is there a way to reenable the wow default boss bars?
Nevermind I found it
Hey all!
I've searched for the option to make the portrait overlay the health bar, and i just can't find it anywhere. Could anyone in here help me to fix this?
- I have linked a picture of what i would like it to look like here: http://www.wowace.com/media/attachments/9/216/pvw43042.jpg
- Thank you all in advance :-)
Nothing major by any means but got this bug today:
2x [ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn "PitBull4_HideBlizzard" tried to call the protected function "MultiBarLeft:originalHide()".

I've also got other bugs related to Pitbull4_HideBlizzard calling protected functions such as CombatRaidFrameManager, CombatRaidFrameContainer, and CombatRaidFrameManagerContainerResizeFrame.
PS: Been meaning to ask, what happened to the Energy Spark to see when your next tick of energy is coming? I thought this is something Pitbull had implemented in the past but can't find it any more.
If I run Trade Skill Master or SpamMeNot Addons I get the error message I posted below.
For several reasons, I don't want to use profiles.
Is it possible to enable/disable some groups with a macro ? (i.e. tick the checkbox via script). I know it's not possible in combat, but that's not really a problem to me.
Probably a stupid question, but i have a tick mark and the text "Raid" above my player unit frame on the right. I've no idea what it is to get rid of it. Anyone have any idea?
Not sure if this is a bug or I'm just not doing something right.
Under layout > health bar, I have it set to custom background and custom color. This works fine for my Player frame, but my Focus, Target, and every other ones just show the texture and ignore the custom background color I chose. Everything's in the same group. Not sure what's up.
Is it possible to have a gap only between groups in a raid? Like I want a no gap between each player then a 3 pixel gap between each group. Hopefully that makes sense.
Great addon, although the aura filtering parts feels extremely confusing to me.
I want to highlight the border around the buffs I can purge from my enemy with a custom color while keeping the border around those I cannot purge in another custom color. Is it possible with pitbull4 and if so, how?
