Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

There's an option to hide that in /pb, Modules, Hide Blizzard, Buffs/Debuffs (or something like that I'm not logged into the game atm).
The default buff/debuffs still show on my screen in the top right. Is there anyway to disable this?

I am using the most recent version of PitBull4 and I created a custom lua text for the player level indicator. It works and displays correctly but does not update correctly, when I level it wont update the new level, same code works fine for my target, I have to reload every level to fix it. Just in case its the code and im just missing something:

This is a really small feature request, but I have no idea how much effort it would take to implement it so I understand if the answer is just "no."
I thought it would be nice if for the monk ability "Diffuse Magic", when it reverses debuffs onto their casters, the debuffs showed as being cast by the monk.
Specifically, my debuffs have a blue border on the target, and when I Diffuse Magic an effect onto them it doesn't have a blue border.
I'm guessing the border checks for the original source of the effect, but could it also check to see if it came from Diffuse Magic in some way?
there is no module for the boss health frames ( Elder council, garalon etc) ?
There is a workaround for that if you are a little bit comfortable with modding LUA. I would highly sugest that you back up your WTF folder first especially pitbull before modding anything however.

As you can see it works just fine (top right corner) :)
It`s not the best thing and was shot down by the devs due to not being the optimal option but..at least it`s an option untill it comes standard :)
GO to the layout editor, select the layout you want to modify, go to Other tab and in there should be colors for each of the border. Make sure they are set as well as enebled :) should fix it!
Any tips on what to change so that I could be able to distinguish elite/rare and boss mobs would be really appreciated.

Still the best unit frame addon around!
One thing I noticed though: Pitbull isn't picking up on the colour change of my embers from red to green after completing the quest. The default UI is fine however.
Minor change I know, but still ;)
P.S. Still loving the addon, and hoping for official boss support in the future :)

Apparently Shefki doesn't like that solution, but it's worked fine for me.
could you add bossframes while you're looking at it ? need them since ages : (

I'll try to look at it and some of the other improvements that 5.2 has made possible this weekend. Since I haven't looked at them I can't really comment much on how much work will need to go into implementing them.

Quick question: any chance on including the new absorb UI into the addon?
I know you guys dont get paid to create/maintain this addon but by far its the best UI addon in the game. Not a fan of all the QQ'ers complaining about why this isnt updated as soon as they log in to 5.2, my advise is if you want to complain rather then be supportive go write you own addon, otherwise be greatful for the efforts people put to keep this addon running.

A guildie tipped me off that the beta posted on the project site seems to work for 5.2. Use the project site link above to get to the download for it
