PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

You can only enable solo test mode,just scroll down and you'll see some discussions bout that. Btw also when you mouseover the window for testmode there's a warning in red saying that it's enabled only in solo since 4.0.3 because of "i don't know why" i'm not a dev :D

Long story short, Blizzard used to leave the frames positioned but hidden. Now they remove the anchors so they're off screen. Which means we can't use them. I have to duplicate all the complicated positioning code in Blizzard's code and do it so that it works precisely the same way in order to make it work again.

Positioning code is a real headache to work on and I've been very busy with work the last couple months.

I am having the same issue. My main is a hunter, and currently I have the same "hiccup" in my FPS whenever my pet is summoned. It goes away if I dismiss my pet.

Also the text on my pets portrait (name, health, energy, etc.) have disappeared since patch. Nothing I do seems to get it back.

If you're seeing fps drops after a patch it's probably due to errors being thrown. The best things you can do to help me is:

a) Make sure you have the latest version available.

b) Press Escape in game, go to Interface, Game Tab, Help, Check Display Lua Errors.

Post the errors you're getting, if any.

For what it's worth I have a Frost Mage and I'm not seeing any huge frame rate difference. Especially if I set my pet to stay in one place off screen. So I suspect you have one of the versions that still had some pet code issues, which have been fixed.

I'm still taking a slight FPS hit with Pitbull loaded. Every few seconds, I'll get a very small fps hiccup.

It's pretty minor, but still noticeable(and thus, annoying). Disabling Pitbull makes everything go back to normal. The modules I use are:
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0, Aggro, Alternate Power Bar, Aura, Background, Blank space, Border, Combat fader, Combat icon, DogTag-3.0 texts, Health bar, Hide Blizzard frames, Highlight, Hostility fader, Leader icon, Lua texts, Master looter icon, Phase icon, Power bar, Range fader, and Ready check icon.

After some further testing: It's not just Pitbull. I had the same issue with Shadowed.

Second, it seems to be an issue with my water elemental. Other characters didn't have the issue, and my mage didn't have the issue with my elemental unsummoned (both as frost, and nonfrost).

Third, I'm having trouble replicating the issue in 25 man BWD raid. I was trying it around the SW dummies before. Not sure what the deal is.

Known bug in Wow, specifically with the views they have set on the model. Default view is supposed to be portrait, but it's actually the full body. If I change it for this model it breaks other ones.

There is a problems with Worgens portraits. It show's their full body rather then just face when the box is unchecked.

I'm having an issue where i can not see my party unit frames :S i can see the pets in the party just not the party its self any ideas? half my guild use pitbull and they say its working fine for them

Disable the one titled "Pitbull 4 [Happiness Icon]" and reload.
