PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Blizzard's hidden in the framework modules.
@angrysteel, Thanks forgot about that, done in the latest alpha.
@Yith No you can't. Just make another Group set it to party. You can easily duplicate your settings so the group looks identical by selecting your Raid group first and then making the new group. Only thing you should need to change then is the Unit group and the filtering.
This is because the raid unit ids are not valid when you are in a party so there is no way to make that work. Only thing I could do is duplicate the group for you and for the few people that might want to do what you're trying to do it's not really worth it.
/pb, Modules, Hide Blizzard, uncheck Party.
After 4.0 Blizzard introduced compact party frames (raid style) and our Hide Blizzard module was updated with beta21 to actually hide them if you have party checked.
@Kumagoro Just go to the filtering tab of your 5 man raid frames and check "party" as well as "5 man raid" Then uncheck "enable" under Party Frames.
But its since today not yesterday.
I download it manmually and install it ... but it doesnt working :(
I am unable to replicate this issue upon testing it myself. (with both beta 20 and beta 21 versions)
"Sure, I could just make partyframes use the raid layout but... yeah :P"
Uh, yeah... I don't get this question. Seems you already answered it?
Is there any way to have the 5-man raid frames to display when one's only in an ordinary party? I wanted to use pitbull as a grid-healing alternative, but I can't seem to toggle the raid-frames to be on when in a party
Sure, I could just make partyframes use the raid layout but... yeah :P
Any plans to bring back right click to remove buffs?
I believe blizzard is now allowing this again, as long as you are out of combat.
I'm betting some other addon or you messed with the "Use Raid-Style Party Frames" option in Blizzard settings. Those are the only way it can be shown. beta21 will fix the later issue.
Yes its beta20, and the issue seems to have gone away after we wiped a few times tonight. Weird.
Edit: spoke too soon, it came back again, guess its random for some reason. Restarted game with it hidden and came back to it still hidden, so maybe it will stick now
@Kynn, With respect to the raid manager showing up again on zoming. I can't duplicate this. Can you verify that you really have beta20 (/pb, look in upper right corner of the config window) and can you duplicate this without any other addons running. There is a long history of other addons assuming they are have the definitive configuration of Blizzard UI elements being hidden or not and reshowing them on zoning regardless of the state they were already in.
@Kynn, Generally no. But when I tagged beta20 there wasn't a release version that included the fix. So it won't be included in the embedded Ace3. I'll probably be tagging a beta21 now that there is a release version that includes it.
The default UI raid tab on the side is still showing up for me even with beta20. Each time I hide it it comes back up next instance change.
And Ace3 needs to be updated? Does that always need to be installed now?
