PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Thanks for the heads up (sorry for not seeing the tooltip and bugging you as a result)!
Addon development fall into the "hobby" area for the majority of authors. We certainly try our best but unfortunately sometimes real life rears up and takes a large chunk out of our time.
You can track feature requests by bookmarking the ticket on wowace.
@Radoznali I believe you can write a LUA text that will replicate what you are looking for. The question has come up before and there should be a sample text either here or on curse. (You can also look in the luatext forum)
@Bobrot: In the tooltip when you select groups it does state in red text that we purposefully turned off config mode. Blizzard broke config for groups with the latest patch and we are working to correct it. You can make your layout using a singleton frame and then apply that to your groups or you can config a group while in a group as well. (meaning.. you can config while not actually in config mode) Yes it is temporary and we plan to fix the issue.
What happened to being able to right click off my auras?
With patch 4.0 Blizzard added code protection to the Buff and Debuff frames.(Auras) (This was to prevent add ons from automatically removing buffs for players, which in some situations was a bit exploitive.) The current Aura modules was built around the ability to sort and filter which buffs you see. (So you can exclude seeing some buffs, set it to see which are expiring first, etc.) Unfortunately not all of that same functionality is available with the now protected ability to right-click remove. In order to provide the ability to right-click remove a new Aura module will need to be written. When its implemented you will be able to choose which Aura module you wish to use and know what the limitations are on both. This will take some time to implement. In the meantime you can turn on the default Blizzard Auras, Write a /cancelaura macro or use an additional buff add on that will allow you to right-click remove. We do appreciate your patience.
I'm currently not able to put Pitbull in a configuration mode other than solo or disabled (no other options appear) is this a known issue? Or perhaps a temporary state due to work on the mod?
I need to adjust my party and raid frames, thus my desire to see them in config mode.
(P.S. Thanks for all the work on the mod!)
Does Pitbull have something like x-perl raid helper module-where you could see who is targeting your target(very usefull for tanks ) or who is targeting you to heal you?
Try this from the FAQ:
How do I turn the default Raid/Party frames on/off?
Go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck or check the box next to the raid/party frames to turn on and off the Blizzard frames and Raid manager. If you would like to use the Blizzard raid manager with PB4 frames, this should be set so that they are not hidden here, and use the "Hide" button on the Raid Manager window.
I do not wish to turn off the default raid frames (because I like them), I only wish to get rid of only this:

Based on what I've read on the UI and Macros forums I'd be surprised if there wasn't already an add on that will hide that for you which would be a better option for managing that then adding it and thus requiring it to be maintained) to PB4
If it doesn't then its not PB and you can start turning on addons until it reappears and you find the culprit.
Checking player under /pb > Modules > Hide Blizzard frames worked for me when you first reported it so I'm surprised its not working for you :(
