Posted Nov 20, 2010Try this from the FAQ:
How do I turn the default Raid/Party frames on/off?
Go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck or check the box next to the raid/party frames to turn on and off the Blizzard frames and Raid manager. If you would like to use the Blizzard raid manager with PB4 frames, this should be set so that they are not hidden here, and use the "Hide" button on the Raid Manager window.

Posted Nov 20, 2010I do not wish to turn off the default raid frames (because I like them), I only wish to get rid of only this:

Posted Nov 22, 2010Based on what I've read on the UI and Macros forums I'd be surprised if there wasn't already an add on that will hide that for you which would be a better option for managing that then adding it and thus requiring it to be maintained) to PB4

Posted Nov 20, 2010If it doesn't then its not PB and you can start turning on addons until it reappears and you find the culprit.
Checking player under /pb > Modules > Hide Blizzard frames worked for me when you first reported it so I'm surprised its not working for you :(
