PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I have the problem, that my target's power bar does not show when the mana changes. When I target someone else and target my previous target the power bar has the new value but still does not update on casts etc. The power bar for example on my pet works fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks

1) Ticket 259
3) Ticket 130
I would like to request 3 features:
1) Text Placement: Can we get an option to just do X and Y offsets from a corner? It would help me place text where I want it better.
2) Aura Filters: Can custom Aura Filters be global instead of profile specific? I use a different configuration on some of my characters so they are on different profiles but I need to program in Aura Filters separately, can I just input it once and reference it by both profiles?
3) Raid Order: Is it possible to order the groups by role? Say Tanks then Melee then Range then Healers based upon the spec the player is in. Even if I manually have to tell it to look up everyone's spec at the start of a raid or when they change specs it would be good.
Ahh...would be nice if you'd mention that obsoleteness in your instructions on making custom modules. Would save others from a lot of frustration.
@DesigningKnights modules.xml is obsolete unless you're running a monolithic PitBull4 which we don't package, that's why the whole file is commented out in the packages. So that shouldn't matter. Problem was the .pkgmeta didn't have the line to make the separate directory for the module.
Ok, I completely removed the previous alpha and installed the latest alpha from 4 hours ago. I'm not getting any error messages for pitbull at all (I do have lua errors turned on) , but I do not see the Eclipse module in the list of modules to activate. I see the module in the modules folder, but looking at the modules.xml, there is no reference to the eclipse module at all.
@DesigningKnights Update, I forgot to commit some code. If you're going to run beta/PTR you should be doing so with Lua errors enabled so you can report the errors.
Ok so I see that the latest alpha says in the changelog that the eclipse bar is working on the PTR. Where do I find it in options to activate it?
Rename by making a new layout while the layout you want to rename is selected as the Current layout.
Then delete the old name.
I can see the headers in the design view but not when I'm in a raid...
ah ha!!! I knew it was going to be something stupidly obvious. *facepalm*
Thanks very much :D
@Salmastryon:
There are two places on the groups config tab you need to set to Party Pets. One is at the very top, labeled "Current Group" and the second is below labeled "Unit Group"
If you do not set Current Group to Party Pets and leave it on Party then I was able to replicate what you were experiencing.
Here's a pic of how it should look: http://yfrog.com/ngyessamplej
Here's what I am thinking you have: http://yfrog.com/1anosamplej
The different is the very top section of "Current Group"
