PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

That's a great addon, best UF around and ages better than PB3.0 already.

Only thing i miss is an option to change the updaterate of the health bars... the default rate is a bit too low for my needs (my main is a raid healer so i think u get why).

Nonsense. Beta9 was released on March 23rd, same day 3.3.3 was released for the US. Your post is from April 10th.

Mine is updated to the latest beta9, but the default Blizzard frames seem to keep popping up every time I enter a dungeon. Only way of getting rid of it is doing /reloadui or relogging.

I had this problem, I discovered it's cause to be Healbot, make sure you have it set to "hide party frame" and "include player and target" if you use healbot

Suggestion to add aura example layout, like in Satrina Buff Frame. So its possible to see the aura's while you edit them, regardless of whether you have any or not.

Would make the editing of the whole aura thing Alot more efficient. And since its already pretty complicated, when we must have the aura's active while editing is quite a challenge. Experimenting and learning how the aura modules functions takes (without exaggerating) SO much longer this way.

Thanks, still love this add-on!(had Bartender for four years, completely blown away now)

Turn on config mode. /pb, Config mode dropdown is in the top left corner. Choose Solo or one of the party or raid modes as suits your needs.

Hello. First of all I love your addon. Pitbull 3.0 overwhelmed me and this is a much cleaner and more organized version. Anyways, I have a question regarding mana bars. Is there any way that mana remaining can be shown as a percentage rather than an exact number? And if so, is it possible for both the actual amount of mana and the percentage to be displayed at the same time? It's not a terribly huge problem but I really enjoyed this feature when I had X-Perl and I feel it would be a great addition to your already near-perfect addon. Thank you in advance ^_^

There is indeed. If you go into the Layout setup, go to Texts, from the drop down choose Lua:Power (if you have LuaTexts enabled), scroll down a bit and there'll be another dropdown menu. You've got things like Absolute, Percent, Smart, Absolute AND Percent.

Just make sure to apply the particular Layout to the unit you want, ie Party or Player etc.

Hey I love this addon so much many thanks. However, I find the ready check icons don't show up. I have the option checked but don't see the ?, check mark or X.

Also is there any future plans to add the option for arena frames?

Ready check icons work fine here. Are you sure you've got them turned on in the appropriate layout. The configuration for them under the Layout editor is under Indicators, Ready check icon.

yeah I went in there and set them up how I want them to look and what not...sometimes they work sometimes they don't..I had same prob with 3.0 too..

You realize that ready check icons in raids are not shown unless you're promoted within the raid? The ready check info isn't shown otherwise because the game doesn't provide it to us.

When i log into WoW the bar Combat Fader (Hurt opacity, Out-of-combat opacity,Target-selected opacity) doesn't seem to work properly (=it's at 100% opacity) until i either target someone, or enter combat. And if i'm hurt (not at 100% mana/hp) the bars wont fade - even if i target someone, etc.
It's not a major issue, but it bothers me, as i'm chasing the perfect UI.
Cheers for a nice'n'smooth addon btw :-)

It's working fine here. Can you post a ticket to:

(You can use your curse login info there if it doesn't already see you as logged in).

Attach your config file found in WTF/Account/USERNAME/SavedVariables/PitBull4.lua to the ticket (using the Attach link in the top right corner after you make the ticket).

Please specify the profile you're using if it's not the Default profile.

At this point I can't replicate your problem. The fader seems to be working just fine for me on login.
