Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

You'll have to set it like that by hand.

- turn off the status bar
- set the topleft text to time
- turn off topright text
- shrink the width a bit

My buff and debuff and weaponsbuffs groups will no longer "stick" together. I have tried everything i can think of but for some reason when i put the weapons or debuffs under the buffs the buffs will no longer stick to it and just run down through my debuffs. Any help would be great.

Is there anyway you could add a "show when not active" and a timer, ala PowerAuras?

I want to track the Eclipse cooldown through EBB, so the ability to see how long (30 seconds) the Eclipse buff has been down would make that possible.

i like your addon alot but im having one problem. when ever i put a seal up it shows in the middle of my screen with 30 minutes left on it how do i fix that

I'd start with activating config mode for all your bargroups and check in which it shows up, maybe it isn't even shown by EBB.
By default, you only have three groups, one for buffs on your char, one for debuffs on your char and one for buffs on your weapons. Maybe you created an additional group?

Did you mean "a 2 column listing"?
You could place the groups for buffs and debuffs next to eachother.
The groups themselves currently don't support a multi-column display but you could split them into multiple groups and filter them based on time.

Depends on what you mean by merging them:
- show them in the same group (with no means to distinguish them): just select both BUFF and DEBUFF for that group
- anchor the debuff group to the buff group: just move the debuffs close under the buff group and they should stick

I don't know if I am just breezing past the tool I am looking for, but I wanted to do 2 group bars, one for target buff and one for target debuff. It keeps track of friendly targets buff/debuffs but not enemy units? Any help here?

Is there a limit to the number of things EBB can learn? Potent Pheremones shows in my buff list when it's active, but it doesn't appear in the filter list of any of my bars - not even the one it shows in during the fight. I haven't looked for Conservator's Grip in my debuff list, but again it doesn't appear in the filter options in any one of my bars.

Thank you for creating this addon is very usefull ^^

Can you implemt a function that track buff like sacred shield or judgment to the target that even if I change the target the bar continue track it?

Hey, First time giving your addon a go, and its clear and simple.

I would like to know if there is a way for when hoving over a buff/debuff to have an option for anchoring the info box to where the mouse is. I.e when hoving over buffs under your charater the box comes up where the mouse is, is there an option in your addon for this so it can so the same?

The filter is bad. I only have a few things I could set for the Blacklist or the Whitelist. Also I cant filter the buff Hot Streak (Mage) which would be very nice to see.
I dislike the options. Why not make a window for the option? It's much more clearly as this menu style.
Apart from that I like Elkano's Buffbar one of the best I know.

You only see buffs/debuffs in the filter that you have been buffed with since logging on.
Once chosen on any filter, they stay available in the lists.

Is theres a way to set up this wonderful mod to show a target debuff bar? Specifically I was looking for a way to show a timer on how long Paladin consecration has left to run?

Is there a tooltip font change option with this addon?

I ask because I changed the font for Group 1 and 2 to Arial Narrow. And now my tooltip font has changed to Arial Narrow also. Is this a bug? Or is there some option I changed which I can no longer find?
