Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

Feature request:
-Timer options for time remaining on spells could be improved. I want a simple option to display whole seconds followed by fractions of a second to two decimal places. No text please, no minutes. Compact!
-Horizontal growth. Why are the Buff bars limited to growing only up or down? I'd like to make use of the horizontal space on my screen more efficiently.
-I'd like to be able to filter for debuffs/buffs cast on a target that have been cast by me only. For instance, tracking Living Bomb on my current target will display all living Bombs on the target, when I just want to see my own.

I love your mod, please keep up the good work!

I can't thank you enough for creating such a great addon. So many buffs and debuffs to keep an eye on when raiding, and this makes that possible.

I have a request. I use several groups to make it easier to see the buffs I have, one of these groups is for consumables and another for self buffs. This makes it really easy to see if I am slacking on my raid buffing ;) and when I need to re-use my consumables. I currently have to filter each elixir, scroll and flask etc (and well fed ofc) individually to each group, and separate out my self buffs in the same way.
Is it possible to add options to the filter menus to allow easier separation of consumables, and of buffs castable by the character?

I've been trying to make two additional groups to easier monitor occasional buffs like Greatness, Unholy Strength etc. ans debuffs on my target. I've made the group, turned on Buffs (default) and White List under Filtering as well as marked the buffs in the White List. It doesn't work.

I've tried tons of other stuff aswell, restarted WoW and basically everything I could think of.

Is this a known issue or am I simply doing something wrong or is it possible I've got a corrupt version?

this is absolutely terrific. i was just wondering tho... is there a way to make it so that they can go from left to right as opposed to up and down?

Since EBB shows a tracking bar of its own, the minimap icon for tracking is hidden by default. Just disable its hiding in EBB's options.

Hi

i'm trying to scale the buffs, all ok but the debuffs and spell stone or fire stone not scale, buffs 85%, debuffs and spell/fire stone 100%.

i don't find the option (if exist), help me.

I'm trying to incorporate this mod into a class timer mod but I see a few things that could be improved. I've traditionally used Rogue Power Bars for all class timer needs, and from that I would suggest allowing coloring on the "BUFF" bars as well as debuff bars currently instated. You could even allow customization of colors on individual buffs/debuffs. I was also let down when I found out that I couldn't track my target's debuffs as well as my own buffs on the same bar. (only buffs and debuffs on me OR buffs and debuffs on my target). Last but not least it would be nice to allow more sorting options...even as detailed as selectively choosing the sorting for each individual buff or debuff.

Yo. I could use some help. Before the patch I used this addon to make another bar with only my buffs- trinkets, combustion, icy veins ... but now I duno how to set it like that again because I get there all the buffs from other classes as well which means that I dont have one or two buffs there but ten and more. Is there a way to block the buffs from other classes exept by blacklisting them ?

did you update to the latest version? since with that, nothing should have changed wrt the usual behaviour (besides spells cast by your pets and vehicles being considered as yours, too)

i really need ur help ,
the thing is that im a mage , and i need to keep my living bomb up in raids but there are also other mages in my guild that has living bombs , and i see theres too on elkanos debuff so i cant hold track on witch one mine is , please help me out its a pain in the ass :P

Heya, I have been using elk buffbars for ages, because its simply the best. Altough there is one thing that I would like to be fixed. Elk buffbars dont show Aspect of the Dragonhawk so could this be fixed? Appreciate your work alot. Thanks :)

IS it possible to have a setting that would display your defuff using a different color ?

I'm an Arms war trying to track my Rend debuff on a mob. Problem is as soon as as second warrior uses Rend on that same mob, there is no way to tell which Rend is mine (outside of remembering the duration)

I'd really like to be able to track, MY debuff or having my debuff list as a different color.
