Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

Hi,

I have just started using this add-on. I noticed the first three groups are linked together. Is it possible to add a new bar to this link so I only need to move one anchor around the screen?

sure, just create the new group and move it close under the third group and it should stick there after you release it.

Just a quick question. Trying to setup a bar to only show Sunder Armor and Expose Armor. I know how to create the bar, but the filters are kinda confusing me.

1. Create the bar
2. Filter to Debuff
3. Change to "Target"
4. Whitelist filter: Sunder Armor & Expose Armor

I did this, but its not showing a debuff when one or the other is on the mob.

Thx. not sure if this is event he place to ask these questions. sorry if its not.

I can not find Living Bomb on your list of Buffs and Debuffs. This is a debuff that should be added to the choices of selections in the filters. If i am to use this to denote what debuffs are on a target I need to know the time left on the target with the DoT so I know whaen to recast it. I would also like it if there was a way to set a bar to only show the debuffs I have placed on a target. There can be multiple Living Bombs on a target but I am only interested in mine. If this feature is already there then perhaps I missed it.

I also wanted to say I know the add on was a lot of work and I really appreciate it. Thank you

This is unfortunatly not a bug in EBB but in Blizzard's API itself. The API will still return 3 stacks for the player onit for that buff even if the number decreased again, for the vehicle unit it works (most likely for pet, too). Luckily for that specific buff you have the visual indication of the shields around your char.
I told Zootfizzle about it and he said he would be looking into it. Don't know if it can be hotfixed though.

Works good except for stacking buffs. I noticed it when i was doing the argent champion quests. The shield buff will stack up to 3, but when your shield is removed, it will not stack down.

is there a way to only display self inflicted dbuffs? for example only MY blood plague and frost fever against my target, without showing other any other DK's debuffs.

Better settings to differntiate between self-applied and other debuffs would be really great.

For example my warrior uses EBB to track target debuffs:

x) I only want to see my own Rend (_very_ important for arms)
x) I also only want to see my Deep Wounds, not 5 bars from other warriors
x) Sunder Armor, ThunderClap, DemoShout should be displayed regardless if i or another warrior applied / refreshed it

Would there be a way to add a "show only if self-applied" checkbox for each buff/debuff instead of the current general setting for whole bar-groups?
