Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Yes you can get this info. No you can't filter on it. We're dependent upon Blizzard's code to do filtering and it doesn't support this. There are ways around this but in general they break in battlegrounds and randoms (e.g. someone leaves and joins while in combat, the filter can't update until you leave combat so new person is excluded).

I don't believe you can set a Tank specifically outside of raid groups, which is what that relys on.

You could perhaps focus your tank use the Focus target?

oh ok, i was hoping it was able to filter based on the roles set in the party. Like when you join a random heroic how the tank has the little shield icon on the tanks name in the party frame. I'm not familiar with the wow api though so ill take your word for it. thanks for the response though :)

And yes, setting the tank as focus is what i do right now, but was hoping to be able to free up focus for crowd control or other macros.

Is there any way to do what the guide describes as "Tank targets" for 5 man parties? The guide explains how to do it for a raid, but i don't get any kind of filtering drop down options in the filtering tab to just show the tank when I have "party targets" selected for the unit group. Basically i want to know if there is a way to just show the tank's target in my party while I'm in a party, NOT the tanks(s) target when I'm in a raid.

I´m using the "caith" texture for my bar style and sometimes when I disable certain addons, the texture resets do default style because "caith" is gone. Is there a way to add the texture without installing the addon I disabled? Fyi it was Docsnameplates.

Did not see a way to do this. Maybe it doesn't exist ... Anyways, if it doesn't I have a suggestion. As per (de)buff settings. Could you make the filter where it only tracks that persons own personal buffs. I thought default buff would do this. However it does not work the same as my suggestion. So you could have "none", "mine only", "default", "class only" (which of course would show the buffs for "mine only" as well. If you understand my thinking that is =)

Not to mention in a raid I do like seeing what self buffs each class has up on themselves. I usually have to do this the more manual way and see who it was applied by.

The problem is how Blizzard referenced the graphic. They can change it, but if they do and Blizzard fixes it, it will break it again.

Just create a "player pet" frame, or disable "replace with user when mounted" or something like that in the pet options. Don't remember the exact name of that, but it basically changes your playerframe to a petframe when you mount the pet. (target-wise, not config-wise)

There are borders for unit frames in the "Other" section.

If you don't see that there, check to make sure that its enabled on the main add on screen.
