Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Posted Jul 22, 2011I'm currently updating directly from the git mainline: git://git.wowace.com/wow/pitbull4/mainline.git
However, it doesn't have the same directory structure as the official release: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/pitbull4.aspx
Specifically, it's missing all of the PitBull4_* directories for the modules.
I can see within PitBull4/ there is PitBull4/Modules/ and that looks like the complete list within.
However, it does not seem as simple as linking the modules from there back to the regular Interface/AddOns/ directory.
The modules have libraries included with them. So if I look at PitBull4_Aggro/ from the curse download I can see PitBull4_Aggro/libs/LibBanzai-2.0/ .. however that is not included with the git PitBull4/Modules/Aggro/
It's possible for me to write some scripting to sync the git version of PitBull4/Modules/* back into the various PitBull4_* folders, and do occasional manual updates for any embedded libraries. But is there some better solution that you can think of? How do you yourself handle such things?
There are some other projects here on wowace/curseforge which use svn and with that they include the repositories of other projects. Doing svn up pulls from the main addon's repo and also look at all of the embedded library repos for updates. Is something similar available for git?

It may not be much help, but I ended up making shift-rightclick pop up menus and I don't use shift-rightclick for any other clique activities.

Posted Jul 20, 2011but missing the option to move the Text's around with a X/Y direction, attach to edge_top_left isnt enough to perfect my ui :P maybe the same for the Portrait,
maybe this can be inplented in the next update?

Posted Jul 19, 2011Also, the name, HP, and MP text is pushed out of visibility on the bar. All you really see is "N.. ..3" in the HP bar, which I don't want. I want to see " Neyze 3.3k" Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

Posted Jul 18, 2011im interested in the config feature: group 10, 15, 25 and so on. :-)
Whats wrong with it, what is the big difference between solo config and raid config, I dont understand it.
I know that wow uses frames, cant you just take a player out of a list, and show him at the position x=0, y=0, then the next x=0,y=1, the next at x=0, y=2 and so on? The start point depends on the saved start-location. Right, the "next" location depends on the x/y size too. Or how is the config mode of it working? Interesting things! :-D

Posted Jul 15, 2011Trying to fix the raid unitframes, and it all goes to hell. Suddenly the raidmembers are all over the screen, and i cant do anything to fix it. So I try to make a new one, and same shit happens.
And even when i disable the whole f*cking raid thingy, ITS STILL THERE! Bothering me! Tried to turn the addon off/on, doesnt help. Nothing helps. It just suddenly disappears, and shows again. Im going crazy soon, spent so long time to fix my default unit frames, and now this happens. Please fix it.!!

Posted Jul 16, 2011Are you attempting to use PB4 Raid frames or the default Blizzard Raid frames?
How are you attempting to disable the "raid thing" (And by that I'm assuming you mean the Blizzard raid manager box so if you mean something else please clarify)?
What do you have checked under Blizzard's Interface > Raid Profiles section?
