PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I was wondering if there is the option to have pitbull manage the unit frames that pop up in certain encounters. say the ship frames in gunship, the prince frames from the blood council, etc.

also, thanks for the great job you all have done with this add on.

@ZoltanZ, do you happen to have Click-through turned on for the auras. If this is turned on then tooltips won't work. This is a known limitation of WoW.

Hello again, I'm using standard I guess, yes it is enabled, I can see the buff / debuffs. Just cant get any info about then when mouse over?

Hi guys, I've been using Pitbull now for a long time on german realms without issues, but whenever I want to play my Druid on an english realm, I get those strange green Frames popping up, I just move them into a corner, but still they are very irritating.
I have deleted the wtffolder of my english char and even (accidentally) reset my pitbull. Picture of the error: http://i53.tinypic.com/14y1rls.jpg

Do /framestack and move your mouse over those frames. That should tell you which frames those are.

I believe that it may be a result of changing game regions.

Hey, I don't know a lot about PB since I just switched to it so I would like some help. My PB doesn't show any portraits. My portraits option is enabled but all I see is health, mana, rep and exp. Any idea?

Check both of these places:

/pb Modules > Portraits (Is it enabled here?)

ON the layout you want to see portraits:
/pb > Layout Editor > Indicators > Portraits (Did you enable it for this layout?)

Groups config mode (where it puts up dummy frames) is not working at this time. You will need to config "live" either testing your layout on a singleton then applying to group or actually in a group.

How many raid groups did you make?
What did you set as your filtering options on each of those groups?
Did you read the guide?
Can you provide a screenshot?

No matter what I seem to do, the configuration modes won't seem to work for me. It won't show me party members or otherwise. Likewise when I actually joined a raid, my raid units were all over the place on the screen and my game dropped to 2-4fps. I have NO idea what I'm doing wrong. I've spent a whole day trying to make unit frames to fit my specifications and I can't get any of the "Group" settings right. I don't even know where to begin to ask for help with the issue, because no one else seems to have it. I see lots of great raid frame setups in the examples. lol

Let me guess... you are on the first tab of Auras and in the section labeled "Time Remaining spiral" you unchck the bos labeled "Other's Buffs"..... which means you turned off the time remaining spiral for Other people's buffs.

In which case this is not a Bug but actually how unchecking the time spiral of other people's buffs is supposed to work.

When what you actually want to do is filter buffs, on the filter tab. There is a section about Auras and filtering in the guide.

Noticed something when I setup a party layout for buffs. I uncheck "Other's buffs" but it still shows them, I'd like to only see my own though.

Not going to apply this sort of change to PitBull4. It's a bug on Blizzard's end. Towards the beginning of every expansion there are many models that are broken. Think it was Human Males for Wrath. It gets fixed and then the workaround creates a problem.

Hello there, Lovely addon here, though I've been trying to find out how to make it possible to see Buff and Debuff information on my target or on focus? So far I can only get it to show on my party frames, but not on the normal ones, such as focus, target or me.

Are you wanting to use the Blizzard raid marking interface (the slider on the left?) If so, use the "Hide" button on the slider.

If you don't want to use that go to /pb Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and check "Raid"

Hello, this might have been addressed however I dont see it anywhere.
Anyhow
It seems that everytime I join a raid the blizzard raid UI comes up as well as the pitbull one. is there anyway to fix this? or could it be a different addon?
