Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Posted Jun 14, 2017no virus software I had windows defender on I turned it off i deleted wtf and interface folder installed pitbull alone and no luck pitbull was only addon affected too

Posted Jun 14, 2017i dont see how it even could be anti virus software it worked fine monday then patch day bam nothing is readable or saveable it seems.
post on the fourms says deleting all the files for bartenderlet it be saveeable again so ill see if that works for pitbull too
well deleteing the saveable and letting the add oncrate news one s let's me save and load BUT i still can't use the old settings so it kinda makes it meh that i have redo everything if I even can redo them.

Posted Jun 15, 2017We had massive problems with Avast after 7.2, so there's precedence. If you have a backup of your WTF folder, try only restoring the .lua file for Pitbull from that. There are some indications that the .bak files prevent saving for some peope.

Posted Jun 16, 2017well i got it to working doing the delte everything for the add one's and only moving the LUA files over. The frames are not in the right spot BUT i can just move then a lot easyer then remkaing them. Now if onl TidyPlates could update again :(

Posted Apr 18, 2017I need some help!
My pitbull unitframes just completely reset when I logged in today. I have not had any problems with this ever, played till late last night, nothing. Then i logged in this morning and everything i did to the unitframes are just completely gone, and its back to standard.
All my profiles are gone, and I cant find anyway to get my settings back, any ideas? :(

Posted Apr 19, 2017The same thing happened to me, I luckly have a back up (a year old, but only slightly changed), but It keeps reseting making it impossible for me to play . Nearly impossible to remake it as I have had it for nearly 5 years.

Posted Apr 21, 2017Do either of you use Avast Antivirus? Disable Avast's Game Mode and restart your computer. It apparently keeps WoW from closing properly so settings don't get saved to disk.
If you don't have a backup, you'll probably have to start over from scratch :\

Posted Apr 9, 2017Overflowing how so? The text automatically truncates if attached to a bar, otherwise, you can, eg, change Name(unit) to Name(unit):sub(1,6) to always truncate to 6 letters.

Posted Feb 25, 2017I made Pitbull new today. Unfortunately I can not adjust the companion in any way. I can put the heap, but the frame does not appear. Even if I call him, no ad.
I use the latest version.
(Sorry for the possibly bad English, I've used a transcendant, i'm from Germany)
