Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

When I re-downloaded and logged in for 6.1, long NPC names are different on my frames, showing on two lines. I'm not a fan. Not sure if it was a Pitbull change or a Blizzard change, but if anyone could help me get it back to the old way I'd appreciate it.

same here, seems like the target frame text scaling is acting weird, class or names show on 2 lines, NPC or players
I noticed that my frames are actually smaller somehow post 6.1, that's why the 2 lines. At least that's what it was for me

Dropped Pitbull after 5+ years. No boss frames is just too annoying. Shame.
The Boss Unit Frame is bugged and disappear. You need to disable it and re-enable it at the start of EVERY raid. It's so so so annoying
shame you're gone. I, however, have had boss frames for years that have worked without issue.
Hi - when experimenting with performance I realized that there is an indicator in the blizzard unit frame after using deathpackt on a dk (wod 6.0.3) showing the amount of heal that will be absorbed. Is there a way to do this in pit? I seem to be too dense to find it.

Thank you for your addon, it's really nice :D I just have a little question concerning my groupe interface :
When I'm in a 5 man group pour a donjon, or in a group inside a raid I prefer keep the health's bar completely on the left on my screen ( like in the normal WoW UI ) but when I do arena with 1 or 2 people, I really want to have the health's bar of my mates more on the right ( almost on the same horizontal position of the health's bar of my character ).
The problem is that I have to chance the position of these things each time I go pvp after pve, or pve after pvp etc. I would like to know if we can create an option in Groupe => filter for have Group of 2 players, group of 3 players etc .. instead of just : group, raid, and solo.
Is it possible ? thank you.

Seconding the few comments about implementing the dispellable buff/debuff icon highlight/glow that is present in the default WoW UI. Great addon otherwise, just missing that crucial feature.
Hi. I'm wondering if it's possilbe to somehow additional layouts per Unit Type. Eg. If I wanted to have 2 frames for my current "Target" - One large one in the usual place, and another small one somewhere else on the screen with different layout settings.
\What I'm trying to achieve: Strip down the entire bar to just buffs or debuffs so that I can have 2, independantly positional indicators of my targets auras. I find the basic buff / debuff setup close to the bar cramped and difficult to read. It doesn't lend itself well to quick glances.
At the moment I have to select a single layout at the exclusion of all other types of layouts. Is there a way to make another unit type that also recognises the same conditions - ie. Unit = PlayerTarget and give it a seperate name (Target #2 perhaps).

Edit: my current patch solution is to use Target's Target's Target, but will ofc fail me in certain circumstances.
1. My Arena group frame wont pop up in arena, i have to disable and enable it to see the enemys, every game.
Maybe u just have to add a line like:
If (arena open gates)
/disable ArenaFrame
/enable ArenaFrame
dunno the actual code xD same with arena target and arena pets
2. There is a way to highlight/border a Member of Enemy "Arena"-groupmembers when focused by me?
Right know u can only highlight frames when "targeted" or "mouseover"
in arena as a healer i only focus the enemys and cast spell with focusmakros
Im switching focus often and cant see what enemy im currently focusing
