PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Posted Jun 6, 2009I am also having problems with version r20090606062304. I get the warning about a lot of addon errors and some self/target frames disappear or are half drawn.

Posted Jun 6, 2009I've been having problems with the latest r20090606062304 release. Ever since I installed it when in combat (sometimes ooc too but more often in) my target frames tend to totally or partially disapear, my own frame when inside a vehicle seems fubar too. + I've been getting addon conflict warnings by wow since the latest update (today) too. The target auras don't seem to be working properly either.

Posted Jun 5, 2009FireAllianceNX, it's a bug. I need to fix it.
Fixed: You'll need to choose Reputation - Standard on all your layouts that have the Reputation text. Since the bug was actually in the default code and not the support code.

Posted Jun 5, 2009Using LuaText... with no rep faction being watched, (using the default text), OnMouseOver would show faction name... since we're not watching one, we error instead of getting a blank for faction name. Anyway to work around the error?

Posted Jun 5, 2009Umm if anything performance has improved not diminished. It's entirely possible that whatever problem you were having had nothing to do with PB4 and just coincidentally was fixed when you downgraded.

Posted Jun 5, 2009Hey, my PitBull4 works just as fine but there is still one thing, which I can't bear.
How I can change the Size of the Time Remaining Text on Auras? Simply, the time remaining text on Aura _ICONS_. How I can change the size of those texts?

Posted Jun 5, 2009Kupotek, both of these requests are already doable. I don't play wow much anymore, so i'll guide you as best as I can. For PVP icons etc: Go to Layout Editor -> Select unit you want to disable them on. Click Indicator tab and disable the ones you want to disable.
IF you want to not use the indicator on any of your unitframes, i'd recommend doing it this way: Modules -> Select appropriate one (ie PVP icon), uncheck the enable box. This won't even load the module so it basically disabables it on all frames at once.
To disable auras for focus and focus target: Layout Editor -> Create a new layout for Focus (if you want it to look different from Focus Target make 2 new layouts, one for each) Configure your layouts and uncheck enable under the aura tab. THEN goto Units select your Focus as Current Unit. Under layout, select the new one you just created for it. Do the same for Focus Target.

Posted Jun 4, 2009It would also be nice to be able to disable stuff like pvp icons etc.. on specific frames, like you could in Pitbull3.

On avg seeing a increase of about 5-7mb before i dumb garbage manually which I do a couple of times per boss fight. If you need more detailed info i will be more then glad to give it. Other then that performance of the addon has been spectacular.

Posted Jun 1, 2009Is there a way to copy your interface to a notepad document (like with Pitbull3) to share with characters who are not on the same account?
Forgive me if it's there and I'm simply unable to find it
