Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

To turn PB4 off for Raid frames, go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck "Raid frames" (Party as well if you want to use the Blizzard version)
Make sure you are making a raid group for raids. PB4 does not come with a pre-built raid group. See the guide on making party and raid groups that is linked above if you need help making a group. For your party group under filtering, uncheck all of the raid options so that only party is checked if you do not want to see party group in raid.
YES! you just need to make a new layout. The concept in PB3 was that you made each frame its own layout. So if you liked one you had to duplicate your steps every time you wanted to use that layout. With PB4, the design concept is you make as many or as few layouts as you want, and then apply them to as many or as few frames as you like. You just need to make a new layout when you want something different. The guide linked above will help you on how to make new layouts.
1. Why isn't the health NOT updating properly in combat? As in, only the text. The health bar responds perfectly to the actual health of the target, however, the text keeps saying the health the target had when you targeted him. Is there a way to fix this?
2. How can I change my health bar NOT to be responsive with colors according to health? As in 100%-50%-20% keeps going green---yellow instead of being the custom color I want?
Under Layout Editor > Other > Aggro if this is enabled when the target is focusing on you it will turn the bar Red.
I shall try to test for these issues and update you.
Are you using one of the pre-built texts or a custom text you created?

And lastly.... Make sure you are updated to the most recent version :)
edit: nevermind I realized you had a typo in _G.AKF = 'AFK' and it should be _G.AFK. I also realized that, at least in the font I'm using, AFK is the same length as Away lol.
One user has reported that it was not staying that way and had to repeat this action at times since 4.0 Please let us know if you experience this bug. (And never fear bugs will be fixed)
There was one part of the layout that I really liked that I see isn't availble for Pitbull4, namely that there is no "middle-top/middle/middle-bottom" options for aligning text on the main health bars. Is there a way to configure that or is it something that could be integrated in the future?
Go to each layout you want to use it > Faders> Scroll down to Range and make sure the check box is enabled.
