The Addon HidingBar supersedes MBB on all aspects and is continually updated.

MBB reduces minimap buttons and makes them accessible through a pop out menu. Click the MBB button to expand the menu and display the buttons. Each button that is collapsed into the menu can be reattached to the minimap with Ctrl + Right Click. The MBB button can also be detached from minimap with Ctrl + Right Click.

Hot Key

Ctrl + Right Click - detach / reattach a minimap button

Slash Commands

/mbb - shows the MBB commands
/mbb buttons - shows a list of all rfames in the MBB bar
/mbb reset position - resets the position of the MBB button
/mbb reset all - resets the MBB settings

lol edit 2: So I disabled MBB and the hitching pauses stopped and as well, this realy odd lag I'd been having in opening my mailbox was totally gone. wow

I see this behavior if I installed e.g. Cartographer with libs enabled, then my FPS go down considerably and the buttons are all over the minimap, so I just removed the libs from cartographer and it is fine again. Most likely a library conflict.

I'm having an issue when I use MBB along with Cartographer and Quest Helper. Every 3 seconds or so, my computer hitches. It *only* happens when I try to run these three add ons at the same time. Any combination of two of the mods isn't an issue, just the three together. Anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this? These three mods are awesome and I'd hate to give up any of them.

I've done a small update for DAGAssist as lots of people seemed to need that. I've not really looked at this addon for ages.

The stack overflow issue is that still an issue with patch 3.0.3 for anyone?

Are there other buttons not getting caught or should be excluded?

Support for moving the button or square minimaps might be possible but I have way too much time invested in my other addons to address this issue at present. If someone else can code it up I'd be happy to apply the patch.

Is it possible to add support for "square" minimaps? Its kinda annoying when i want it in the corner and it overlays the minimap

Hi Pericles,
I love MBB, great add on for cleaning up those pesky buttons. Unfortunately, when the new update to DagAssist came out, it broke when I was trying to use it with MBB. Based on some comments on WowInterface, I updated the MBB_Ignore array to include DA_Minimap, and everything worked great. Anyway for you to permanently add this to the release?

There is a conflict between MBB and Deadly Boss Mod. When I enable MBB, I cannot activate the DBM GUI/Menu anymore.

Perhaps you can add an option to let us decide which buttons we want to be consumed by the MBB... MBB is the best minimap button clean up addon, but some dont work... such as DagAssist... just a thought

Hi,

there's problem with another addon:

When i activate the MBB, an addon called Dagassist ( [URL="http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/mbb.aspx"]Curse link[/URL], [URL="http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=11358"]wowint link[/URL] ) is not working. I get this error when clicking on the Dagassist icon:
Interface\FrameXML\RestrictedExecution.lua:758:
Cannot declare closure factories from insecure code

Without MBB the addon works nice!

I don't know which addon causes the problem. I posted this error on the Dagassist page aswell. He said, your addon causes the problem:

quote: "Due to the protection put in place by Blizzard, any addon that casts spells cannot be arbitrarily shown or hidden. It sounds like MBB is interfering with that protection and there isn't anything I can do about it. You can talk to the MBB author about possibly changing the methods he is using to show/hide buttons."

Perhaps this will help you. I don't know the LUA code ^^

Just finished testing out this addon and had some problems.

After the icon was dragged off the map, I Ctrl + right clicked and the button disappeared. Typed /mbb to bring up addon options but only the /help text came up - only typing /minimapbuttonbag would trigger the option text. Typing /minimapbuttonbag reset position did not reset the button to the default position.

No other addons where used when I was testing it out - defautl ui other than this addon. Other addons are in the directory but where disabled for my test of this addon.

Update: After further testing I have found more details. I can reset the button disappearance (button disappears 100% of time) using the command /minimapbuttonbag reset all but only after a relog (did not try reloading ui instead of client relog).

I'm getting an error message that says there's a stack overflow in line 855 of MBB.lua. It appears to be killing my game every time I try to load.

I just downloaded the latest version of atlasloot enhanced, v 5.01.01, the minimap button issue is fixed :)

seems for me even with the 5.01.01 atlasloot version the minimap button just doesnt want to go back into the bag

Update: With the update to 3.x, MMB is now working flawlessly. Thanks for being ahead of the curve!
