The Addon HidingBar supersedes MBB on all aspects and is continually updated.

MBB reduces minimap buttons and makes them accessible through a pop out menu. Click the MBB button to expand the menu and display the buttons. Each button that is collapsed into the menu can be reattached to the minimap with Ctrl + Right Click. The MBB button can also be detached from minimap with Ctrl + Right Click.

Hot Key

Ctrl + Right Click - detach / reattach a minimap button

Slash Commands

/mbb - shows the MBB commands
/mbb buttons - shows a list of all rfames in the MBB bar
/mbb reset position - resets the position of the MBB button
/mbb reset all - resets the MBB settings

Here's a fix you can do manually until an official update is available:

It requires 2 changes in the MBB.xml file.

1. Change line 66 to:

MBB_OnClick(button);

2. Change line 96 to:

MBB_OnUpdate(elapsed);

Voila!

This was a little premature. The fix above will get all the buttons into the MBB frame, but they won't work.

How exactly did you fix the references? with what did you replace?
Maybe you could post your fix on www.pastebin.com so we can apply it manually ourselves.

I had been having strange errors with my minimap buttons for awhile now, and just realized this mod does not work quite right with SexyMap or XPerl. Any way you could make it compatible?

Does not work with Mappy either! And Im sorry, but Im not giving up my minimap addon just to move a couple buttons! Obviously, the author has abandoned this addon so its off to find a replacement!

in searching for a repacement i found "buttonhole advanced reborn" and it seems to work ok with all of the add-ons i currently run. it's not perfect but it gets the job done. it is not hosted here on cursed but it's out there

just want to report a bug... I used to use the sexy map coordinates but when i turned it off there was a small black box(with a few red dots in it for the font color of the coordinates i used) where the coordinates used to be and it now separates a few add on buttons from the rest. Which i can now move around for some reason(including the add ons behind it)... >.> I'm not sure what is going on but it just looks odd to have a few add on buttons and then a black box that i can click and move.

with the new version of smartbuff, I'm getting: 27x <string>:"SmartBuff_MiniMapButton:OnUpdate":1: attempt to call global 'SMARTBUFF_MinimapButton_OnUpdate' (a nil value)

is this something on your side, or smartbuff?

My line 85-86 in MBB.lua looks like:
[28] = "DA_Minimap",
[29] = "MiniMapLFGFrame",
and the LFG button shows up.
