Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

I agree. It should default to off as I did the same thing. I know your reasoning behind it, but it should default to off, or it should popup a message on first load, telling you it's off.

please change the default setting of "hide minimap tracking frame" to off. I just spent hours trying to figure out where my minimap tracking frame went, only to find out that EBB has added a feature to hide it. EBB is a buff-bar. It has nothing to do with the minimap tracking settings. I can see why you added the feature, but please default it to off.

btw, i only found out it was caused by EBB, because of this thread, so obviously others are having this problem as well..

it's on by default since EBB also has a tracking bar, that provides all the functionality the minimap button does. And since that is on by default, the other on is off.

I've unchecked the Tracking feature everywhere I can find it, but it's still showing me when I'm tracking herbs... I can't get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Just wanted to add it ONLY seems to be doing it for tracking herbs, not tracking anything else. I've tried adding Tracking Herbs to my blacklist and it still shows up

Forgive me if this has been answered already, but I couldn't see anything about it in the several pages of comments that I checked. Is it possible to show the anchor for a group, but not show the "Blessing of Demonstration" that comes up if the group is empty? Thank you.

The selfcast works great for selecting the buffs I cast.

But I can't figure out how to show only and all of the buffs on me that I didn't cast.

If there is a way to make a group that shows all buffs on me that I didn't cast, I'd love to know. Could you tell me what the filter settings should be set to? If this can't be done, please tell me that as well, so I'll stop trying to figure it out :)

WRT the 5 min, I did mean the max cast time. It does work great for selfcast. I only mentioned the time because I wanted a group for "Not Selfcast and maximal>5 min"

A guildie set me straight. I thought selecting selfcast blacklist mean make it selfcast as long as it wasn't on the black list.

For anyone else reading this, filter->selfcast->blacklist means filter out the selfcasts. Obvious once it was explained.

This addon may be just what I was looking for, but I'm stuck on the following.
I want every buff on me to show up in one of my 4 groups.
selfcast, >5min
selfcast, <5min
Not Selfcast, >5 min
Not Selfcast, <5 min

Similarly, for target debuff groups I want in one group
Immolate I cast
and in another
Immolates others have cast

Is there a way to filter for buffs/debuffs I didn't cast?

Did you try the "selfcast" filter? ;)
WRT the 5min, if you mean maximal buff time it works, if you mean current it doesn't.

I suggest installing Utopia, too.
That one will not only add the person who cast the buff to the tooltip but also adjust the tooltip based on talent bonuses.
