Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

I am wondering how to scale down the size of the bars... A friend of mine figured it out, sometime, but has now forgotten. Thanks!

Im wondering if there is a way to show the CD on spells like concussion shot, kill shot, and explosive shot

Hey, i have Ebb enabled and everything yet i dont see any of my buffs and when i meddle around i find that it says bar 1 is trying to anchor itself, something along the lines. Hope you can help me with this

I think they don't show up in the dropdown menu. But /ebb profile should work.

in the german version of wow a spellname has changed. "heiliger schild" ist now called "geheiligter schild". the new name is not yet in the whitelist of the filter-menu. how can i fix this :(?

EBB doesn't come with any hardcoded spell names. So that's at least nothing I have to fix :)
In order to get the "new" spell on your whitelist, just have a paladin buff you with it in order to have it show up. EBB will only list spells that affected someone being tracked or those already on a black-/whitelist.

Im wondering if there is a way to get a group to show both target debuffs and self buffs based on black/whitelist. Currently i can only figure out how to do either target or self, but i have seen others that have been able to do both in what looks like one group. Am i just missing something really obvious?

If this has been answered elsewhere I'm sorry, but I can't find the answer: is there a way to show only the debuffs I apply? It's not helpful when there are 4 other rake, faerie fire, mangle (etc) bars ticking down, and I can't tell which is mine. Same with heals- is there a way to show only my rejuv, renew, etc? Thanks!

Ok i have used this addon forever and its by far my favorite buff addon, im just wondering if there is a way if, asking anyone really, there is a way to make the buffs go horizontal instead of vertical

I very much love this addon however I'm having a problem. I recently reinstalled all my mods but for some reason I cannot get it to permanently hide the anchor on a bar I've created. I can click on "Show anchor" and it goes away but next time I log in it's back again. I have created a new bar exactly like the old one (It's a player buff bar but I only want temporary combat buffs to appear, i.e. Hot Streak and Now is the Time!) but every time I log back in there's the anchor again. It's a minor issue to be sure but it's slightly annoying and reminds me that I really don't know what I'm doing with this mod. :) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please make it go away! :)

I was using SimpleBuffBars for a while, but there is an anchoring issue (with bars Growing Up) with that mod so I'm back to Elkano. :) Hopefully a slightly more straightforward config setup is in the works, but the existing one isn't bad. One thing I did like about SimpleBuffBars was the auto-filtering by class type... basically "caster" buffs do not get displayed for a melee class, etc. That was nice to have for big raids with lots of buffs :)

When I get a lot of buffs, they go right off my screen. First they ignore my viewport and go down beyond that. Then the list hits the end of the screen and I can't see all of my buffs/debuffs.

Is there a way to specify a maximum number of items and have Elk's (or any other buff mods?) start a new column? I can't find anything in the options.

Ideally, I'd like to tell the addon that it can use X pixels or it is allowed up to Y icons per column. After that it would create a new column. As I put my buffs on the right side of my screen, having the option for the new column to be left of the first would also be great.
