Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

When i try to scale down the frame, the buff frame shrinks but debuff's stay the same size

Each group is independant with it's scaling settings. You can copy visual settings between groups though.

Elkano's BuffBars are not working properly after this maintenence.
When i log in, it shows my buffs, but it doesn't update when i loose/gain buffs.
The time on buffs/debuffs still go down, but when it hits 0, it doesn't go away.

Only way to update the buffs is to relog or /reloadui

First off, great mod - I don't think I could stand playing WoW without it these days.

Not really a bug but more of a feature request - is there a way to adjust the strata of the bars? I have a custom group showing my Envenom buff, but a few of my other addons have a habit of covering it mid-fight. I had a decent search around the mod's options but couldn't find anything... am I being blind or is this something that could be added?

I am not able to access configuration of this mod whatsoever. Have fubar installed but it does not support this mod natively, and cannot find a plug-in. Any pointers?

It should show up on FuBar...
But try: /ebb config
that will open the config, too.

Thanks for the fast reply. I did try /ebb config first, but the command is not recognized. It appears the addon is not installed correctly. Is there any dependencies? I installed it with Curse Client, let me try manual and report back.

If they don't show up when EBB is disabled it means that some other addon is hiding them.

For some reason, now that I want to use default buff/debuff display again I cannot get it to appear. I disabled EBB and the default does not show up, I load EBB back up and set it to show blizz default and it disappears when a buff gets changed. I deleted absolutely everything related to EBB and they still do not appear.

Used to be that if I hovered over my buff bars, I would see in the tooltip who the buff is from. Thus, I could see which Pally gave me kings, which druid gave me paw, which hunter has aspect of the noob, etc. Was that something EBB did/does, does anyone know? I don't have that tooltip info anymore, and I don't see any options in EBB that would be related, but I don't know where it came from at all.

I don't think that feature ever made it into an EBB release since I myself use Utopia for that information (which also updates the tooltips based on talent boni)

Thank you so much for this addon! Besides CT which isn't a Curse addon, you are the only one I can fiddle with to a minimalist setting with my poisons showing! I always forget to refresh my poisons and...like everything else I forget, need to make them big and in my face to remember.

It sure, it's Elkano's causes my wow to hang on the loading screen and so I have to clear my cache to get it to load with this addon enabled.

Hi, I'm really fond of this addon and I like using it so thanks for making it!

One thing, is it possible to get an update on this? It seems it sometimes causes my wow to hang on the loading screen and so I have to clear my cache to get it to load with this addon enabled.

Im having a problem where the warrior buff bloodsurge isnt showing up in the filter menu, so i cant whitelist it into a specific group.
Besides that, this is my favorite addon. I dunno what i would do without it.

Hey, I just love this addon, so thanks for making it.

One thing is a bit annoying (nothing big though), when I mount My travellers Mammoth, it shows as a buff, nothing wrong with that either.

But it also removed the Mammoth picture, so I cant dismount the sellers, preventing me to take a raid/party member with me.

Same goes for the Levathian encounter in Ulduar.

Is there a way to get that picture back?

Just wondering if someone could help me make a single bar that shows the time remaining on my slam proc from bloodsurge?? I have seen many people with this on there UI's and I couldnt figure out how to get it to work. Please help, I appreciate any assistance.
