Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

Hello,

I'm trying to establish a white list filter. But every time I log out, the buff/ debuff list from which to choose the filtered ones resets. The program "forgets" that it ever has seen those buffs/ debuffs. If I go to a battle ground, the list gets very long, after I log out and in again, all these registered buffs/ debuffs are gone.

I've tried what you say and it worked, when I made a new bar group and put all the same settings as the bugged one bar had everything worked perfectly. I am not quite sure but this might be cause of spells list it had, it had both spells in English and Russian, since I used these settings while I was playing on one of EU servers back in days...Although some other bars still has the same type of lists. Well anyway now everything is working great again. Thanks Elkano!

Hey there Elkano!
I've been using your lovely addon for some time now. Lately I'm having a problem with one of my bar-group. I'm able to use all of my old(pre cata) settings and all is good, but now when i've created a new group bar(i have set it to target to see some debuffs from my white list, just in case it could be important notice) EVERY time i get logged in to the game i have an anchor of that bar active and i have to disable it. I've transfered my config to another pc and things is ofcourse the same, just can't get rid of that things, please throw me a tip how to fix this up.

sounds strange... like some problem with saving the SVs...
do other changes or new bargroups also vanish next session?

No changes happens to any of my settings apart from an anchor appears to be enabled every time I login with my character, so I have to click on 'show anchor' mark to remove it all over and over and over again.

I meant if you change some settings for one of the existing groups or create a new group, will these be reverted next session, too?

Sorry for double post, I just had another suggestion. I would love to see an option to make the buffs and text clickthrough.

First of all let me say I love this addon.

Secondly, I would love to see some customization options added, to like make the buffs pop out when they are about to expire. Like they would become a lil bigger and have a shiny yellow border around them or something like that.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but there seems to be a specific problem with the Beacon of Light buff tracking. If the spell is reapplied on the same target before expiring, the EBB timer dissapears instead of going back to full duration. This unfortunately makes it impossible to track at the moment, is there plans to fix this or is this another Blizz "update"?

Hello! Simple buff bars is great addon, really! But one thing is very uncomfortable - user can change only scale but not height and width. I am begging you to improve this deficit!

And one more thing: i cannot find buff tracker. E.g. paladin (prot spec)always need Righteous Fury, but after die sometimes i forget to use it. In this case buff tracker, that shows me that i have not one of important buffs, will be very useful/

hi on my debuff its showing blessing of demestartion xxxx. and i cannot get rid of it. can u please help me? im tried reloading it.. even when i make a new group its there..

I've been using this addon for a long while now. I love it. LOVE IT. Getting back the cancel aura functionality will be great, but for now, I just use a macro for the few I need to do. (/cancelaura Spell Name)

Hi, is there a way to show the dot/hot ticks?
I would really like to use this addon for that but I couldn't find an option.
And if there is not such an option could you put one in?
