740 - Suggestion: Vertical Indicator Options

What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
I like having 2 black bars on each side of my unitframe to indicate dungeon role, DC, etc. But when adding multiple indicators in a position in relation to a bar they are horizontal only.

e.g. Combat indicator (Top), Dead Indicator (Top) = Two indicators side-by-side rather then stacked.

Please provide any additional information below.
Is there a possible option to mark a bar as vertically orientated such that indicators attached to it grow either up or down in relationship to their point of attachment?

    It would almost be setting # columns to 1 and just wrapping them I would guess (using action bars as a reference...)
