Skada Damage Meter

Skada is a modular damage meter for World of Warcraft with various viewing modes, segmented fights, and customizable windows. It is designed for efficiency with minimal memory and CPU impact.

"Skada" is Swedish for "Damage".

Midnight Edition (WoW 12.0+)

This version of Skada is updated for World of Warcraft: Midnight and uses Blizzard's new session-based combat systems.

Usage

Getting Started

A default window is created upon first load. Access the configuration menu by clicking the cog icon on the window title bar or via the minimap button. Select Configure to access settings.

Multiple Windows

Skada supports multiple windows. Create new ones under the Windows section of the configuration panel. Windows can be:

Bar: The standard customizable meter.
Inline: A horizontal line for custom UI setups.
Data Text: For LDB displays and minimal setups.

Navigation

Left-Click: View more detailed information.
Right-Click: Return to the previous view.
Mousewheel: Scroll through lists.
Tooltips: Hover over bars to see additional context and shortcut keys (e.g., Shift-click for targets).

Themes

Manage window designs with the built-in Theme Engine. You can import and export themes by using theme strings.

Versions

Midnight (Default): For WoW 12.0+ using the Native API.
Classic Version: The version for older WoW releases.

Is there an option in skada that shows at what point in a parse your highest DPS was? I tried installing the graphs plugin but that shows it live and I am unable to scroll back in time. Not sure if this is possible with skada but I thought id ask since it would be useful for measuring effective burst

Hi,

I miss clicked and pressed "dismiss" when the tooltip of new features for 1.6.5 popped.

I would like to know what they changed, or maybe restore that tooltip in-game. How is it possible?

I am a sublety rogue and suffering from the damage separated (Teammates cannot see it that akali's soul not conclude in total damge). we have already asked it since 7.0. it stll not fix till 7.15. Can you check and fix it asap? thank you very much

Why does the skada window pop up after i take a fp from dalaran (to anywhere). It even pops up on certain WQ zones when i'm solo, despite of me having enabled "Hide when solo"

Are they really that annoying? It's just one right-click to dismiss. Anyway, the idea is to only notify on major things that are deemed noteworthy but probably get overlooked by the vast majority, since Skada as a rule doesn't change defaults or impose itself too much.

There is an option called "Update frequency" that does this. There is also an option called "Smooth bars" for animating the bar changes gradually instead of immediately.

Please return to the simple method, it worked. Install and that was it. Majority of people like that. It's over complicated now :(

Version 1.6.5 does not work for me.

I really like Skada, but it seems I cannot see my damaged mobs.
It´s says "Shiftclick to see "Char names" damaged mob(s) but the list is empty?!?

Do not download update 1.6.4, it is fucked up and doesn't work. If you've done so, reinstall 1.6.3 over it

It is true 1.6.4 does not work, currently have 20 people in raid with skada 1.6.4 not a single person had it work on that version all had to downgrade to 1.6.3

Love this addon. Thanks for all your work. Any chance you can add an "External Healing Required Per Second" category? This would track healing taken minus overhealing and minus self-healing/absorbs divided by time in seconds.
