Skada Damage Meter
Skada is a modular damage meter with various viewing modes, segmented fights and customizable windows. It aims to be highly efficient with memory and CPU.
"Skada" is Swedish for "Damage".
Note: I took a tiny break from WoW (a decade), but recently started playing SoD. Be aware that this addon may not quite work yet.
Usage
When you first start using Skada, there will be a window created by default. This window can be extensively customized in Skada's configuration panel; click the little cog icon to access a menu, and then click Configure. Depending on your user interface, there may also be a minimap button allowing quick access to this menu.
Skada supports multiple windows. To create a new window, click Windows in the addon's configuration panel. There are three built-in types of windows - Bar, Inline, and Data text. Bar is the classic damage meter window, and is very customizable. Inline shows the meter in a horizontal line, which can be useful for integration in custom user interfaces. Data text shows just one item at a time, and can also be displayed by any LDB display addon, such as Titan Panel, ChocolateBar, or ElvUI.
In the normal Bar window, you can left click on specific items for more detailed information, and right click for less details. At the very "top" is the list of all saved fight segments. Some data modes have several detailed information views. In this case you choose alternate views by holding certain keys pressed while clicking. For example, in Damage mode, you can Shift-click a player to see what enemies the player caused damage to. Tooltips will display how to reach the different views.
You can also use window buttons for selecting fight segment and mode directly.
Scrolling in Skada is done with the mousewheel.
Plugins
Skada is easy to extend, and there were once many extra plugin addons out there that add functionality. However, there are unlikely to be any maintained ones currently.

Posted Dec 15, 2016Same bug as raffyboy. My skada is factoring in Akaari's Soul, however everyone else that uses skada, Akaari's is not showing included in the total dps. Basically I am showing a lower dps than other players. Any idea on when there may be a fix for this? Thanks

Posted Dec 12, 2016Hi, found a bug playing Sub Rogue.
After a fight, Akaari's Soul is not included in the total dps for other players in that fight, except for me. So I always have a different dps than other counters.

Posted Dec 8, 2016I have updated Skada but for the past few days it has not worked. I have no idea what is causing it to not function but its not even showing up on my screen like it was last weekend.
So it might be something conflicting with whatever Bliz might have done this past week with their hot fixes and rolling restarts. Not sure how else to describe this, but for now I can't get it to show up on my screen and even in the middle of the raid tonight, it never showed up either.
Hope you can get it fixed.

I got a bug : Demo Destru . When i am using "Demonic Phylactery" to complete an expedition , Skada addon Got an ui message to ask to desactivate addon skada.
Work only if skada is desactivated.
Can be re enabled after with no problem.

Posted Nov 29, 2016There are more modules written for Skada than for any other damage meter (Recount, Numeration, Details, etc).
Also, generally speaking Skada is more lightweight on CPU and memory than Recount. I think Details and Numeration are lighter still, but haven't tested.

Posted Nov 13, 2016I still haven't been able to make this work on any of my computers since Legion. I even have a new laptop with a fresh install of everything as of two weeks ago, and it doesn't work there either. https://s22.postimg.org/aex9322ox/skadabroken.jpg I just get solid bars, with random classes (that may or may not even be in the group), and no numbers. The menus all change the labels, no errors pop up, it just doesn't measure anything, and even a complete UI reset (+reinstall skada) doesn't seem to fix it. I can't think of anything more to try...

A trinket whose ID is 137462, with Intelligence and forwarding extra blood suck to DPS. The trinket is from jail.
The special effect is caused by the healers. Mean when to use it and whom to be used at is decided by the healer who has this trinket.
So I am wondering that if the extra healing caused by this trinket is supposed to counted it the healers HPS? Or others' won't use this trinket anymore since this is not 'visible', though it is actually a significant trinket for healers.

Posted Nov 8, 2016Seems when running with two Ret Paladins, Blessing of Might is bugged. Sometimes it gives all might damage from all buffs to one Ret Paladin, and no dmg to the original buffer. Double checked this with warcraft logs. upwords of 50k errors in skada logs.

Posted Nov 7, 2016After recently switching from Recount to Skada, I realized Skada is superior in every way except that it lists the names without the realms, so you can't whisper the person if you forgot which realm they were on. So it shows "Painbow" instead of "Painbow-Mal'Ganis" like Recount does. Can this at least be an option to enable/disable? Show realm in player names or something. Then it's perfect.
